Hello, Good Morning / Afternoon / Evening and welcome to all you Brickset Bonus Ball fans!
Its Friday, another week has flown by, you must be aware of the format by now?
For those who are new (welcome!) and for those who have not been paying attention, simply answer the question below, the 1st 59 to answer get a number (based on their post position). If your number is then drawn on this weekends UK national lottery bonus ball then you win.
After my good fortune last week (thanks again
@catwrangler and
@princedraven ), a question about the best day of your life seems in order :-)
What was the BEST day of your life and why?
For me actually having the luck of getting my bonus ball answer in the winning position would be up there but this technically hasn't happened yet, the day I delivered my youngest on the bathroom floor was truly amazing but incredibly stressful (and a bit messy)! So if I am honest with myself one of the best days of my life was the first day of the Reading Festival in 1991 where (at 16) all my favourite bands played all my favourite songs, a day full of youthful exuberance and pure unbounded joy (and also a bit messy)!
Oh yes a prize, this week you could be the lucky winner of #30355-1: Jungle ATV and a randomly selected CMF. Good luck everybody!
Also if you fancy having a go at hosting one of the draws, please PM
@snowhitie, who is ever so kindly organising the volunteers' list.

Now that blobby human says things like: 'Dad, if we get four Minecraft Villages, that would make for a HUGE town.'
Around 13 or 14 years old, a few of my friends and I decided to make a treehouse, got some wood, stole some nails and a few hammers from various parents' sheds and houses, then cobbled together a "ladder", "platform" and some "roofing". It wasn't great or anything but we sat up in it for days afterwards.
There was no plan to do it beforehand, no plans involved in making it and a sunny, summer day to do all this nothing in. Wish I could have a day without any plans now!
Obviously XD
And normally in a couple of days my wife will give birth to a little princess, so that will make two best days!
So I'm going with my second wedding anniversary when my wife bought me a single lap of the Nurburgring while we were touring a bit of Europe in our 1971 VW Camper. I did a sub 20 minute lap time and had a blast. For those that know the 'ring, we monstered the track at a dizzy 60mph. I chickened out of dropping into the Carousel for fear of the van falling on its side, but as we went round the road on the top of the banked curve we were undertaken by a Dodge Viper GTS and 911 GT3, the passengers of which looked up and out of the passenger side to see me waving down on them!
Difficult to pick one best day, meeting my husband, getting engaged, going down the Grand Canyon, wedding day, birth of my son,the day my cerebral spinal fluid leak finally got fixed, receiving my first Lego set as an adult (a MF, just #7965, but still a great moment).
I seem to enjoy a lot of wonderful moments with my son lately, he keeps surpsing me with little things he says or does. Like yesterday in his piano lesson, after he played a song the teacher said 'did you notice you played that note wrong?' and he says 'no I didn't, I changed it because it sounds better that way'. He and my husband (who heard the whole thing) were telling me about it afterwards and my son couldn't understand why the teacher looked at him quizical and didn't really know what to say. I don't think the song necessarily sounds better that way, but just the fact that this little seven year old doesn't just accept what is written and isn't afraid to make up is own mind is bloody marvelous to me.
In hindsight finding Brickset must have been a good day as well since it made me some new friends and has brought me a lot of laughter.
Wouldn't have enjoyed the last 15 years anywhere near as much without her.
(though next Thursday is a good shout!)
So I think the day I got married probably ranks as the best.
I was out in NZ at the time & got to watch South Africa play against the local regional rugby side followed up by drinks with family & then a midnight swim in a geothermally heated pool with an attractive blonde
