My goal is to visit the LEGO House during its opening weekend. Would it worth be staying longer than a day in Denmark to visit other places and locations? What other places would you guys suggest?
I'm also hoping to pick up the following sets as souvenirs: #4000010 - LEGO House, #4000016 - Billund Airport and #21037 - LEGO House. Would anyone know where to pick the first two sets up from and how much is the going price. I recall #4000010 being £17 and #4000016 costing £40 at the time of the reviews by Huw on the main site.
Anything else I should take note of for this trip?

#4000016 Billund Airport is only available at the airport, in the Lego store past security. So you need a flight departing from Billund to snag it. Costs DKK 399, which at the moment converts to EUR53/GBP49.
Going to Billund/Denmark for the first time as well tomorrow, so can't help with any other questions. The Destination Billund 2015 thread might help?
Well done bringing this thread up again @iso3200 - I forgot I said I was going to report back :o
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone can update on this thread? I am going to Billund in February 2018 to see the house & would like to know if the Lego Billund airport 4000016 set is still available at the airport?
Thanks in advance.
Kevo
Cheers Huw.
I won't go hunting for that then.
One last question you might be able to answer.
Is it walkable from the airport to the Lego House?
Thanks in advance.
Kev
We walked LEGO House to airport Saturday night after a nice meal in Le Gourmet restaurant. Took 45mins - hour.
Note the bus fare is only about £2 and there is a service at least every half hour.
As @Huw says, no Billund Airport set in the airport shop any more.
It was last week, at least that's what one of the regulars on a Lego Facebook group said who just came back from Billund.

^Only other Lego house exclusives I saw were the 2 pick a model fish tanks and some keyrings (maybe a magnet).
