How do I delete my account?

I just made this account to start commenting on threads here. However, I soon remembered that I had actually made an account last year and just forgotten about it. So this account is kind of useless. Can I delete it somehow?

@huw @drdavewatford - a mod should be able to help. I couldn't find any link to a deactivate account page either...
