Only Lego talk?

I see a few threads around about Chinese knock offs, but are legitimate discussions about other brands frowned upon here?  Like say Mega Construx for instance?  And if it is ok would it just go in off topic?  Or am I just missing where they are?

There already a thread where those other brands are discussed: Clone brands discussion. There's some positive talk in that thread as well :)

Brickset's forum is known as a strictly Lego forum and I think the post @stlux mentioned is enough to discuss what you need to, but any more would take away from the strictly Lego-only discussion here. I am not a moderator or administrator though, so I'm not going to pretend to speak on their behalf.

I thought that clone discussion was about knock offs, I'll look deeper for the other stuff.  I have this weird phobia about mixing other brands into our Lego Collection but I just saw the Mega Construx Destiny 2 Cabal Harvester Drop ship and it's making me rethink my stance.
