I already had something relevant in my pocket!
It's in the style of one of those giant chess boards you find in Japanese parks offering two different types of puzzle as well as two ways to store pieces (stacked around the edges and in corner tubs).
I started this soon after coming out of my Dark Ages, an event which left my sudoku addiction standing wondering what had happened. At the time I didn't have enough pieces to complete it. The ongoing clearing in my room led to its discovery. Today my problem was finishing the puzzle, partly because I'm so out of practice but also because I hadn't realised how much more difficult using LEGO elements would be than numbers.
Seeing all of these great entries without it even being the middle of July makes me hesitant to even start mine (for some reason I generally don't start until the second half of a month when the pressure is really on).
(Disclaimer: I ran a picture through BL's new mosaic maker, and ended up with the above. Turns out it's not very original, as there's already mosaics out there that are pretty much 100% the same...)
I'm not actually all that great at Mario Kart, but it's nonetheless my favourite video game series. Good fun for local multiplayer mayhem! I bought a Wii U just to play Mario Kart 8...
Just wanted to know when these get reset, so I can try my best to participate. =)
btw, yeah, it's 90cm tall. which is actually super small, compared to the original model
On three. Rock, paper, scissors, 1 2 3...
I guess scissors beats paper this round.
And the winner of the July chest of gaming loot is.......
@Mynatt with his functioning rock, paper, scissors! Lots of great entries, thanks to everyone who participated! @Mynatt please PM me with your address and preference between a Set or a MOCpartStravganza. Both guaranteed to not suck!
Be sure and check out the August contest too!
