I'm organising a model show in Caterham for the 16th of September, which will include quite a few Lego displays, as well as Lego activity tables, and Lego in the raffle.

Location/address is: Sacred Heart Centenary Hall, Essendene Road, Caterham, CR3 5PB.
Public opening times: 11:00 - 16:00, Admission: Adult, £2; Child, £1.

The show is raising money for 5th Caterham, one of the local scout groups in the Caterham area.

Further details at http://caterhammodelshow.hqr.im/, or please like/follow Facebook and Twitter for updates!:

If anyone is interested in displaying, there may still be a bit of space left, but it's filling up fast!

Many thanks, Peter.

Hi @Harlquinth!! It's me bookmum from London AFOLS!! Didn't know you were on brickset!! To anyone else reading this I went to this little show last year and it was very nice. Well worth a visit! And Caterham itself is like a cute little holiday village - but in travel Zone 6!

And here I thought it was going to a model show entirely devoted to Super Sevens and Caterhams, a vehicle which has looked the exact same throughout its existence. Would be a very dull show!

@bookmum didn't know you were on here either! As you might have guessed, I don't have time to get on here very often...have just updated my notification settings though so I should hopefully get emailed next time I get a notification! :)

Show should be bigger and better than last year - we've expanded into the neighbouring hall this time, and we're virtually full for displays already. Have been doing more advertising around the local area than last year as well, so should hopefully get more visitors!

    Thanks, Hq.

I am looking forward to it - especially as I never made it to bricklive (although I hear that wasn't that great!!)

It's a couple of weeks to go to this show. I will be there with a 'Mini Museum of Fabuland'. (plus there will be loads of other models there including non lego ones including meccano). Plus there may be my 'Mini Mini Museum of Homemaker' so called because the pic below is pretty much all I have!!

Not long to go - show is a lot bigger than last time, over twenty displays, twice as many as we had last year! :)

This is tomorrow! For those who are Fabuland fans or wondering 'what on earth was Fabuland' I will be there with my Fabuland collection!

Unfortunately came up to Caterham last Saturday for my Nan's 101st, so couldn't make it this weekend.  Hope it went well.
