EXPIRED: [US] Walmart: clearance, 50% Off

Found a PotC London Escape for $25. It was a painful deliberation because 50% off is right at my mental threshold on that set for "get it" or "leave it". What pushed me over into "get it" range was the "Captain's Daughter" printed piece, heh. I've always wanted that piece for a future MOC.

As a sidenote: it was VERY nice to see the manuals/stickers/poster bagged and backed with cardboard. Why-oh-why can't every set get this treatment??

Wal-Mart in Bedford, OH outside of Cleveland this afternoon has two podracers, 7962 on clearance for $44.99. Passed on them because I'm not into Star-Wars but that struck me as a more unusual clearance item.

Some of the friends polys were in the Easter 50% off section today at two local walmarts. Apparently the stores are having trouble getting everything that is supposed to be on sale in the system correctly, so even if they aren't supposed to be on sale, you might get lucky with the right cashier.

Picked up some AC sets and a Grevious Starfighter today at 50% off. My local Walmarts have been slow to discount.

^Nice find, you can sell the Grievous minifig alone for the price you paid ($25-$30) for the set. He'll also be available in an upcoming release this summer, so a pretty nice gain right now.

Well I finally ran into the Lego guy that stocks the southern half of Arizona. He said the best store to go to for the lego sales are the small ones since they are less likely to keep stock and make room for the new ones.

Found some Star Wars polys (TIE Fighter, ISD, Republic Cruiser) on clearance at a WM in North Phoenix for $3. Sorry, wrong thread.
