I can't get search to find a topic on this.  Does anyone think Boost will see any kinds of deals better than Double VIP points before Xmas?  Maybe a better giveaway... but beyond that, nothing probably right?  I can't really see Amazon / Target or any other big box stores putting a deal on it.  Thoughts?

If its going to be anything like Mindstorms, double VIP will be the only way to get any sort of deal on the product. Lego never discounts Mindstorms in their stores and website. The stores that carry Mindstorms, likewise, don't discount them either.

I think it must be - I know I've seen it discounted in the UK.

Mindstorms is occasionally available in the UK at around 50% off if one of the existing discounts happens to coincide with a 3-for-2 offer.

Boost looks like it's being geared up as more of an educational toy, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's stocked by fewer retailers, and consequently there would be less scope for big discounts.
