Just to update. There is a a lot of chaos happening around this tragic fire. Physical donations have been asked to stop as they have so much but there lots of individuals and groups still collecting and distributing. Official information is to be very careful about who you donate too as already scams have happened - which is so sad. The main focus on the moment is food and toiletries as they need to be replaced on a daily basis however it seems to be better to donate money so these items can be bought locally. I think it is wonderful that people would love to donate lego to the children. I would really recommend however unless you are a local resident of Kensington to donate money through the official ways because that way you can be sure it is getting to the people who need it. I believe some of the churches /mosques etc in Kensington will be doing gifts of new toys. I am going to try and find out more information on Monday. But again if you are not local to the area then money is better. Check for details. Thanks.
