Basically, the dog ate my homework...or something.
I should have much more space to spread out my stuff in a new place and begin building again.
Sorry to anyone opening this thread because of the new posts, expecting to see a few MOCs and instead seeing an excuse.
I enjoy visiting the stoney beaches we have on my coast. I can always find something to do
So the second picture is with that model included, the first is just my entry. Been planning on making a bigger scene but this was quite good for an extra challenge.
So in the next 2 weeks I will either learn how to fix backgrounds in GIMP, or buy a bigger light box ;)
In the last two years, my wife and I have discovered that we can see our town's fireworks display from the roof of our home.
A blanket, a warm drink (cold if it is especially warm outside), and a place away from the crowds make for a nice evening together.
The below picture is more showing my first attempt at making a brick-built road. (Lots of modifications to make) However bear with me, we'll get to the favourite summertime activity bit. It's in there somewhere!
Summer is the perfect occasion to spend time outside! (Well, as long as the temperature is in the 20-25C range I support...) There's all kinds of outdoor activities/festivities to take part in. And in Luxembourg (as frequently elsewhere), that means hot-dog stands at those festivities! Actually better, these serve all kinds of grilled sausages, both local and Portuguese ones.
This is actually not even close to being my favourite food, but somehow I associate them with being able to eat outdoors at these festivities.
At the Contern Comic festival in July there's usually a band of Stormtroopers, but maybe this year Batman will make an appearance? And will he be quicker than the doggie eyeing that sausage?
Turns out I don't have the right parts handy to add a few more intermediate shades as I planned, but you get the idea...
Fun entries everyone.
This is what I've been doing practically all summer. Compared to the actual game, this is quite crowded. As an added bonus, try to guess the game!
