Anyone been to BrickWorld Chicago?

I'm looking into attending BW Chicago this year. Do they play very many games at Brickworld? I see quite a few technic challenges on their website, but no "regular" games.

Any special events I should partake in, or people to meet?

Is it just like a Brickfair?

Are you going to one of the public days or are you looking to attend the full convention? Vastly different experiences.

This will be my fourth year there for the full convention. There are endless things to do. Speed builds, drafts, dirty brickster, mindstorms sumo...I'm pretty there will be live battleship again this year. There's also a ton of popup activities that happen.

The sessions are also usually pretty good. Tons of interesting presentations and panels, plus Minifig swaps and stuff like that.

Full thing. Public days are rubbish.

Ah, good. Not sure why they don't list that on their website.
Do they have a "yard sale" there?

They are still in the "looking for volunteers" stage of filling out the calendar. It's usually updated closer to the show with the schedule of events and sessions.

No yard sale. At least not one that I have ever seen. There are tons of vendors, but I imagine that's the same at Brickfair.
