Help! Suggestions on selling polybags at Craigslist

Hey Guys :)

I know I haven't said anything in a while because a couple of things have come to my attention. Just recently, I unexpectedly needed cash fast, so then I thought about selling some of my polybags lying around. I don't really need to make a profit, but I need a attention snapper that can make people get my polybags really fast. I'll list some that I'm selling, and the amount I have:

http://brickset.com/sets/30313-1/Garbage-Truck  1x
http://brickset.com/sets/30396-1/Cupcake-Stall  1x
http://brickset.com/sets/30205-1/Pop-Star-Red-Carpet  1x
http://brickset.com/sets/30278-1/Poe-s-X-wing-Fighter  1x
http://brickset.com/sets/30240-1/Z-95-Headhunter  1x
http://brickset.com/sets/30242-1/Republic-Frigate  1x
http://brickset.com/sets/850777-1/Legends-of-Chima-Accessory-Set  1x

Now keep in mind that I'm not selling them here, I just need some opinions on how much I should sell them for. I also have never sold anything on Craigslist, so any tips would be kindly appreciated. I'm thinking in the 4-5 dollar range, but it might be a lot considering other places like Target are selling polybags for just $4. I might also sell the Chima thing for $8. I would greatly appreciate the help and I hope you have a good day :)

Your prices seem reasonable for singles. Offer discount if someone takes multiple.

Are you not selling here because of shipping?

^ Yes, along with no experience with the Marketplace. Thanks for your feedback! :)

My friend is trying to sell some polys on Craigslist, only has sold a few rare ones, and is still holding on to many of the 'common' ones (ones found in a retail outlet). Unless they are rare I would say to sell them here if you are not looking for the moon, besides you can also ask someone here cover shipping in the price of selling them (and packaging as boxes to hold a poly should not be terribly expensive).

I believe there is also a thread somewhere where people actively report who is a good buyer/trader on this site.

I wish you luck if you sell via Craigslist as you may be able to sell them, and quickly. However, I'm not sure it will be much faster than selling them here and shipping them IMO.

Wow, the Austin Craigslist has a lot of LEGO ads. One thing I have noticed searching Craigslist is that "lego" and "legos" will return different results, so it will help if you include "legos" somewhere in your ad. Improper plural or not, it will boost the number of people who see your ad.
