I expect them to go death star with this and include a large roster from both trilogies. Possibly even a ep 8 one or two. My other prediction is one obvious choice will be left out for no apparent reason.

A couple of Klingons, K9, Metal Mickey and Buzz Lightyear.
    Also a construct-a-zorg micro fig

Hello. I'm new but this thread has got me out of the general lurking around. I'm not as into the Star Wars stuff but like the idea of the MF. Being unfamiliar with the UCS line in general, do these sets typically have built out interior details or are the just exterior models? From what I can gather, it appears there's been a shift of sorts in that they doing more interior details and adding mini figures?
At any rate, I would be very interested in this if they confirm that the interior will be built out. Just curious if there has been any speculation on that front. Curious what you all are expecting. Thanks!

It varies. The sets that are typically a ship/vehicle can just have a couple of minifgs (x-wing, TIE, snowspeeder) but then the sets that are seen as playsets can have more (e.g. Death Star, Ewok village, Assault on Hoth). Interior details varies as well. They are usually large and detailed and look great on display.

So a microfig of a megafig...
    Isn't that a minifig?
I'd love a new Zurg minifig. I wasn't planning on wanting the new Falcon, but if that's included, I might need to start saving

So I've passed the point of will I/won't I and am not firmly in the buying this ASAP line.  But where on earth do I put it?  I don't think I have a single shelf in my Lego arsenal that could even fit the landing gear on, even with loads of overhang.  Anyone have any suggestions?

If they did a UCS metal Mickey I'd be first in line to buy it!

there must be 9,999 other people who remember this.

They're going to leave out Nien again, despite this being the ideal opportunity.....

^Toys R Us responding lightning quick to a product issue, or any issue for that matter? I don't believe this for a second.

I'll try to mount it to a ceiling (upside down), or hang it flat on a wall like a picture.
(...gotta wonder if it would make international news when a ceiling-mounted Lego Falcon drops on your head and kills you...
What a perfect AFOL death, tho.)

    Is this the real thing?
  • Mr_CrossMr_Cross Member Posts: 1,713
^ no I believe that is a fake created by @CM4S. The main giveaway now for any fake online is that (if the first teaser is representative or actually) the real box it looks to be much closer to a cube in it's overall dimensions.

^^ and if the x-ray images are to be believed, the orientation of the photo is wrong - the cockpit should be near the logo in the upper left

    I mean I guessss...

They also used my Mall of America LEGO Store in the 10259 slot lol
  • PaperballparkPaperballpark Member Posts: 4,270
^ Where is the above image from anyway? #10259 isn't listed on brickset yet. I'm guessing it'll be the 2018 modular. Does that mean it'll be a shopping centre/mall?
  • FowlerBricksFowlerBricks Member Posts: 1,731
    Which image? The falcon one?

Yes. Obv the original image was made by CM4S, but where was it photographed there? In some kind of booklet or something.
  • FowlerBricksFowlerBricks Member Posts: 1,731
I can show the whole pic, but there's some confidential words on it, so I don't know if I want to...
  • FowlerBricksFowlerBricks Member Posts: 1,731
Well, it's not really watermarked. it's a photo of some Japanese catalog. If you really want to see it, I can put it up.

    I thought it was #75192?
  • fourstudfourstud Member Posts: 1,378
    Here's the deal

Some random store in Taiwan grabbed pictures of "10256", "10259", and "75192" from Google.

They are placeholders but this is apparently some sort of preorder form. I don't know of a 10256 coming. I think it was cancelled. 10259 is the upcoming Winter Village set. NOT my Mall of America LEGO Store MOC.

What's interesting is that they list a 70922 CONFIDENTIAL_Batman Movie 2018_D2C coming soon too. There is no 70922 in the normal set range so it sounds correct to me. Stash2Sixx (who has given us the most information on the upcoming Falcon thanks to his sources at LEGO!!) claims it's a Wayne Manor and is coming out at the same time as the Falcon.. which is not true

We've seen that LEGO has provided retailers with information on upcoming D2Cs before (remember how we first heard about Assembly Square) so it's possible they've been informed on the details on upcoming releases?

Someone provided me with the full picture...

Maybe this is far fetched, regardless of those prices North American currency's equivalents, the falcon is priced 2.8 times more expensive. According to Lego's CAD and USD for the Ninjago City, we're looking at $840 USD, or $980 CAD. Even those we kinda knew that, and it obviously isn't how Lego prices their sets, and that paper could not be the exact reatil price, it's still scary... in Canada, Ontario, where I live, there's 13% sale so tax, so that's a $1,107 falcon......

Or if you look at the London Bus price instead the falcon is 7x more expensive, translating to $980 USD and $1250 CAD—though that is an outlier in the group.
