    You realize that most of the information you posted ended up being wrong.  So how exactly does that add to the vitality of the Forum?

    Unless you want gravitas-less idle speculation, expounding one's hopes, dreams and yearnings for future sets - then have at it.  There isn't much room for meaningful discourse other than: 'I hope the ____ has _____."

    As should be evident, there isn't much appetite for such discussion.  Discussion you attempted to foster, but nobody responded.

    I would love for that to happen but people here are not interested in talking about upcoming Lego sets. I have not idea why but I have tried to help you out and added a comment.

    Heres a prediction - multiple sausages in multiple colours (no new recolours though) - A veritable sausage party (which I'm pretty sure the MF has been described as before!)

    I personally think it's coming and soon(ish). The website page that LEGO pulled convinced me. I don't believe LEGO is sophisticated or even self aware enough to troll fans that way.

    Agreed. Whether it's this year or next it's definitely coming. I hope they do improve upon the old one, specifically with a detailed interior. That's the only way I can see justifying an $800 price point.

    I use the word "justifying" very loosely...

    @cavegod, you don't have to be old to enjoy the Beatles, just be related to someone from Liverpool, in my case, it's my dad that's responsible for my love of the Beatles...

It's not uncommon to witness online and IRL discussions where someone says "I hate the Beatles (or Elvis respectively)" only to be met by "oh so you're an Elvis person".  A lot of people seem confused while those who 'know the facts' nod knowingly...

    I like the think of this thread more like the scene after the date. You open it up hoping for a bit of fun but you end up unconscious with blood coming out your nose.

    That is a really good point. I have always thought the same about Marketplace Threads. The OP sometimes complains about "unwarranted" comments in their thread, but those comments keep the OP's thread up top without having to bump it themselves. Free advertising ;)
