They should get the guys who did their manufacturing and warehousing systems to look their front end!
On Friday, bought two Microfighters at my local store and no double points showed up on the receipt. On Saturday contacted CS through email (I'm not much of a phone guy). No response yet, but checked my balance just now and "complimentary points" matching the Microfighters were applied today.
Hopefully I'll get a response later today confirming I am in "the list".
If you haven't already checked, I would look in your Spam or Junk email folder. It may have gone there instead of your normal In Box. The other option, which I feel is more likely - is your account was tagged "Not Yet Decided" for VIP emails. Since all of the special promotions will be relayed via email, I've updated that to a Yes and I hope that's okay. If not, please let us know right away and we'll change it back for you.
There's no need to provide a receipt for your Millennium Falcon™ purchase, it's right there in your VIP account! Your account status does show you're eligible for all of the special promotions that come along with making that purchase before the end of 2017.
The points for the 2 Star Wars™ sets you purchased in our LEGO® store have now added. Due to not all of our VIP members being eligible, the points don't add right away - whether a store purchase or order online/phone. The 'double' points will add within 48 hours through our VIP team. I'm sorry for any confusion about that - I learned something new too when reaching out about it!
Another toy retailer now has stock of #75192, this time the Dutch Intertoys chain. Priced at local RRP of 849 €.
I went to my local LEGO store today and bought #75205 Mos Eisley Cantina; double points showed up in my receipt.
I least it is confirmation that my 'black card' status is confirmed.
I heard "no" from a store employee; and I am not paying full price for #75201 or #75534 to test the waters ;-)
BTW, this is how the double points show up in my account:
Which is different from the "complimentary points" I got after contacting CS (see screenshot a few posts above). Seems like more evidence that something was done to my account after I contacted CS.
I am not complaining as all was fast and easy, and everything is in right order now. But I do encourage you (as others have done before) to contact CS to double-check your status if your are unsure.
I was looking at the Millennium Falcon set. Do you guys think there will be an additional set upgrade to incorporate the nose section as shown in the upcoming Han Solo solo movie? I think the guide within the front opening could be there to do so. Attaching to the round tiles in the front...
Anyways, we know for a fact that they gave out far more Black VIP Cards than they had originally intended because they talked about how the program was being extended to anyone who bought a MilF prior to Jan 1st. With that taken into account, they would have needed to manufacture more volume to meet the increased number of cards, and they actually couldn't be really sure until Jan 1st just how much they would need, although they could predict what would be sold at least a couple of weeks prior to that based on their own stock numbers for the set and over-manufacture by, say, 5% of that number. So we have from the beginning of December till now for them to have a rough idea of how much stock they will need for Black Card exclusives. That's about 3 months, and 3 months is painfully short for even an emergency run in industrial manufacturing. Especially considering that these next few months tend to include some of the busiest times of the year for new set releases, and they need stock prior to the actual release. So I wouldn't expect to see any exclusive minifigs or small sets or whatever being released until this month at the earliest, and possibly still not for another month or two.
They certainly may have cut back on the program, but they've also almost certainly manufactured quite a few of early exclusives if they were doing any, and it would be foolish to discard all of those and basically ruin what has so far been a wildly successful program for them. That success may change if they don't start giving out rewards soon, though, and I'm sure they know that after the rocky roll out of the cards themselves.
looks ok to me well if "Temporarily out of stock" can be called ok........
still for this he needs a good bricking... it's the same as stoneing... but with 1000's of lego bricks and not you know stones..
there are ways to make a page say any stuff you like then take a image and post it.
this i think is all on legoboy.
edit:.
hell i could make it show as on sale, and in stock. when it's not...
