The designer video should have been enough for all you sceptics to stop dashing this thread and start talking about what you would like to see in the set.

Here's a concrete Millenium Falcon. Is there any money back with your so-called 'guarantee'? ;)

Just because it has no words doesn't mean it isn't a meme.

It isn't. It's a picture of a concrete MF. Not quite a concrete picture of an MF, but still...

^Does it come with a fully detailed interior? If not, how is it any better than the old UCS MF?

That would be a wants list rather than  a rumour.

Since you're jumping to conclusions, this might help you. Note - this is not a meme, but a carefully designed way to solve ones questions about the new UCS MF.

And the news is...  'Lose' doesn't have two 'o's in it, which seemingly comes as a shock to about 2 billion people on the planet.

Maybe they meant "loosen", in case you are asking a hardware related question?

UCS Battle Droid coming; it's a foot tall. Also, kicks off the UCS Duplo line. 50 pieces.

That sounds even weirder to an American—for a second I was left wondering why the Death Star would be such an oblong shape. ;)

Football = spherical object kicked with the feet.

By those terms, an American Football should be called a handegg. :p

Doubt it. Two perfect dates have passed but NOPE

^ and we usually get murmurs of something happening.

Wouldn't the perfect date be tomorrow, May 25th 2017? If not why so?
  • ecmo47ecmo47 Member Posts: 2,101
In my opinion, it is the perfect day for an internet reveal but they usually do big announcements at major trade shows.
  • CCCCCC Member Posts: 20,526
Maybe 13 July for Harrison Ford's birthday. I guess they could pick any date and there will be a link to SW somehow.

As ^ above though, they'll release something like that when it makes the biggest impact, rather than to meet a date.

If it does exist, they will probably want to minimise the time between info release and set release, so stop the copycat clones copying their new model too.

They just added the UCS Snowspeeder. I don't expect they will put out another UCS Star Wars at least until the Fall/Heading to Christmas lineup. *If* they make the UCS Falcon at all...

If anything it'll be a headliner for the Star Wars merch day for all Last Jedi products in Aug/Sep.

Finished building this tonight, very enjoyable build.

    Looks...Lepinish...

Might just be my bad screen resolution though.
  • AstrobricksAstrobricks Member Posts: 5,436
^ Yeah, those studs look mighty plain.
  • ericbericb Member Posts: 108
^^ I can see LEGO on the studs.

Prime excuse to get a new monitor with better screen resolution then? That's definitely LEGO :)

Bottom right corner has LEGO on studs, the rest are hard to make out ;)
  • monstblitzmonstblitz Member Posts: 653
Whoops don't know why that old post about the memes came in again.

Yeah after I looked again I had a feeling it was my mom's old monitor to blame.  Sorry for making a baseless lepin accusation!

^ Thats ok, I was using an iPad with Retina display and it looked plain to me too. Once I open the linked pic and look at the lower right as suggested, the LEGO shows up.
@princedraven, how long did it take to build?

yeah, depending on how you photograph its easy to "remove" the logo. resolution of pic matters, too
  • GalactusGalactus Member Posts: 260
@Astrobricks I did mine in 22 hours. That's right out of the box. Now the parts are in my collection, so it would take me a lot longer.
  • flakmaniakflakmaniak Member Posts: 50
As each day goes by, my prior on the rumors being true decreases. I'm not sure that's right, given the nature of the website evidence, but that's how my mind works on this.

Still. I want a UCS Shark's Crystal Cave. Well, when I say UCS Aquazone, I just mean new and super-high-detail sets. I don't want some non-minifig-scale garbage like the UCS Snowspeeder.

    Maybe we'll see a UCS Shark's Aqua Falcon? :P

If I were a particular Star Wars fan, maybe I would make some remixed Star Wars vehicles to evoke Aquazone or Ninja or other excellent Lego themes...

Since the 40th anniversary has passed, I'd guess the next D23 or more likely SDCC in July for an announcement

Probably took about 24 hours or so over the course of a few days, took my time with it.
Yes it is 100% Lego original.

Bloody huge, so not sure how long my wife will let it dominate our Dining Room table :-p
