If you mean the tall skinny case with the Snowspeeder on top, I believe that is the Detolf from Ikea. I have one, but haven’t decided where to put it yet.

That's a fair bit more LEGO room than it is an office :-)

Edit: Just seen the pics in another thread,  Maybe a little more office than these pics would suggest.  Very nice

Yes, it is the Detolf case from Ikea. I have another one to go next to it, just have to assemble it along with some more sets to fill it up.

There is also room for a third one if I get that far...

@drwoodsy would love to see photos of the pieces next to the stickers and in situ. How do you feel they compare to the stickers?
Here you go. I would say slightly less pop in the colours but nothing you would notice when incorporated in the build.

Mine arrived today too.  Very very pleased with the quality of the prints.  Outstanding in fact.  Extremely crisp.

A couple of pieces had one or two unfortunate scratches however (caused before printing) for which I have requested replacements.

10/01 online during all the chaos. It was a miserable experience and took an ungodly 2 - 2.5 hrs of my life, but I kept trying and got through somehow.

Got my black VIP card today,  I'm in Virginia, bought mine Sept 14th. From Lego Shop at Home.  I was one of the back ordered and didn't get my falcon until November.

Well that is it then, I tried for ages (months) to get a MilF, went to my local store and phoned them a few times, spoke to CS, and even though I am a superfan of Lego Star Wars and was willing and able to buy one, they were not available and now dont have a black VIP card. Very disappointed :'(
didn't they say black VIP cards are good through end of the year and then some, if available? i thought i read that.
No extension of the program past Dec 31 as confirmed by TLG to Promobrick (in German).

It would be nice to get some sort of info on this. Just off the top of my head, I'd like to see cardhaolders get access to exclusive minifigures, special discounts on Star Wars sets, bonus VIP points, etc

I ordered on 11/12/17, got not long after, I guess will wait a bit longer before chase up card, would be nice if we got something exclusive after spending out quite a sum!

Glad you clarified! I was able to place my order 2 hours into the chaos on 14 Sept. I was about to pitch a fit with Lego if folks placing orders 2 weeks after mine were getting their cards first.

Does anyone know how to check if you are on the mailable or non-mailable VIP list (without contacting customer service)? I stupidly assumed that I was on the list, but after talking to customer service yesterday, found out that despite buying on Sep 14th that my VIP card won't show up until the end of Feburary.
  • herbyderbyherbyderby Member Posts: 78
Has it been confirmed that anyone who bought it in 2017 will definitely get a black card (eventually)?  shop.lego.com still says "The collectible card is a limited-time offer until 12/31, or while stocks last".

It must be for any orders placed before 31/12, im not to fussed about the actual card more so if there were any other advantages of it but expect not.
I guess an email to customer services will be needed to ask where card is.
Worked last time as I wasn't on notification list for the MF added me and I got one just before Christmas yay!!

LEGO explicitly said there will be black-card-specific promos. We just have no idea what they are yet.

I honestly forget that I’m getting a black card most of the time, until someone says theirs arrived. Then I check the mail eagerly for a couple of days then forget again.

That's awesome!  At first I thought it was a mock-up so you could see how much room the Falcon would take up.  haha.  Cool rug though.  Loving the glass case as well!
Is that the 2006 UCS Vader's TIE on the left?

Just checked my VIP account and it looks like I don't have the box checked off of receiving mail from LEGO. Based on what other people have said I won't get my card until the end of February even though I ordered the set the second day it came out and I have ordered from LEGO SAH in the past. Thanks LEGO, apparently having a box checked online really makes the difference on who should get their Black VIP Card and not for those who got their set earlier.

Seems that US/CAN customers are waiting a hell of a lot longer than US customers for these. It seems that TLG are trying to get countries done rather than people (regardless of where they're from) done in order of orders placed/fulfilled.
  • playwellplaywell Member Posts: 2,333
I am up to bag 5 and I have (4520320: 3 M.Arch W.Knob And Shaft) left at the end but I cant seem to see any used in this stage of the build.

    Any help?

    Thanks

Have you checked the earlier threads where folks were showing the "extra" pieces?

Yeah its seems like (4520320: 3 M.Arch W.Knob And Shaft) is not used in stage 5 at all and that I am missing a spare (6093527: Shaft 3M). So l think I have a wrong part but lucky for me it is just a spare part.

I meant to say EU customers. I think German customers got theirs first, then UK/BE/DK/FR seemed to be coming through at about the same time.

Well folks, judging by certain things elsewhere online be prepared for the 1000$ Ultimate Collector's Edition Millennium Falcon from the Han Solo a Star Wars Tale movie in the next four years.
  • AstrobricksAstrobricks Member Posts: 5,567
    ^ Source?
I find that hard to believe. But I can certainly see the current MilF hanging around through the release of the Han Solo film.

I would hope so, since the Han Solo film is supposedly releasing this spring, even though there's been almost nothing released about it yet (including a trailer!)

No one in the demographic to buy a $1,000 set will buy that one cause it looks like a completely different ship. There is no nostalgia to drive poor spending decisions.

Let's just put it this way, Disney's blatant new buy more toys design just does not fly as a MF and I will not be buying it. I'd just as soon sell a kidney and save for the UCS original classic ONLY design for the MF than give anybody money for that... horrible joke of a spaceship.

As that is the case... anybody want to buy a slightly used kidney? :D

I'm assuming the MF will look different in the Han Solo movie, what would be nice is if TLG offered a parts pack to allow folks to modify their #75192 to match it. Though I dont think there is a precedent for this (add on parts for an existing set). My only concern if they did something like this though is if it was widely available then there might be some people who buy they up and hold them "hostage" for a huge markup.
  • gmonkey76gmonkey76 Member Posts: 1,833
The problem with the Solo movie Falcon is the design. Every website/movie depiction of a stock YT-1300 freighter used the design of the Millennium Falcon. You mean to tell me the special modifications Han made was make it look stock? I don't buy it. Guess we'll just have to wait till the movie comes out. But then who knows if they tell us or it will be onenof the many things Disney doesn't give any backstory on.

That's not going to happen. The falcon is a different colour in the new film and a slightly different shape

I saw that pic but I didnt realize it was a final product for some reason. Was thinking it was just a completely different ship.

To be fair, I'm not sure we've ever scene another YT-1300 in the new canon before - so they could have an out there. However as a massive Star Wars lore nerd and looking at the picture, I'm pretty sure that's a plain old YT-1300, they put cargo containers in the middle there, Han just never has his attached in the movies.
  • bandit778bandit778 Member Posts: 2,398
These are pics of YT-1300's from AOTC and they don't appear to resemble the Solo movie set in any way shape or form.

Don't read below if you do not want to read gossip from the new film!

Saying that, according to some rumours floating about surrounding the Falcon from the new film, the filled in space between the mandibles is a removable cargo pod that enables it to be ditched should any self respecting smugglers find themselves in a bit of a tight spot and needs to get rid of contraband quickly.

    gmonkey76FizyxLobotstlux
  • gmonkey76gmonkey76 Member Posts: 1,833
^&^^ That and in the photos of the Solo set I saw the mandibles are too close together for it to be cargo pods taking up the space.
