Thanks for organising this.
Apparently, Lego train tracks were introduced in 1980.
(hoping for some extra comments in there, probably not enough though)
Some great answers. Some of the answers make me feel very old as I remember the events well. When @TheOneVeyronian was just two, I was 18 and wandering around the Park Lane showroom checking out the bright red F1 they had in there, still got the brochure in my collection somewhere!
(Missed the drawing!)
(btw, the story about me being a passenger in a McLaren F1 road car, 100% true! I can even tell you whose McLaren F1 I was a passenger in. Funnily enough, I was 18 when it happened)
There you go @TheOneVeyronian 22 years ago!
To make this somewhat LEGO related, I kinda hope that LEGO make a Creator Expert model of this car, to me it's as iconic as any of the CE cars they've done so far.
I make that a @Legoboy win this week. I'll get my daughter to pick a random polybag from the stash in the morning. PM me your address.
Thanks everyone for taking part.
I've always considered it appropriate for anyone that takes part in the weekly draw to also take a turn in hosting in @bendy's absence so as winner this week I'd like to host next's please. :)
The bird? Not so much...
