Hello from a long-time LEGO enthusiast
Hi all,
Some of you may remember me from way, way, WAY back when from the rec.toys.lego days (see, I said it was WAY back) and The pause.com LEGO Reference Guide, which I created back in the mid '90s (before LEGO even had a public facing corporate website).
Anyway, our son is getting more and more interested in LEGO building (up til now, he's primarily been interested in collecting the CMFs) and so I've decided to reorganize and catalog my collection on Brickset. I'm about 1/3 of the way done, so it's back to Ikea for more shelves haha.
Just wanted to say "Hi"...crazy how things have change around the world of LEGO online in the last 20+ years ;)

And of course I remember your Pause.com's reference guide which pre-dated my first Brickset efforts in 1997 by a few years, IIRC.
Now if I remember correctly, it formed the basis of the Lugnet reference, right?
Anyway, my love for the brick has never waned...just life and in the years since, I got married and we have a little boy and as I said, he's getting more into LEGO now. That combined with some other AFOLs at work means I'm spending more time with it myself. Smiles all around.
Thanks again...so happy to see how important Brickset has become to the LEGO community...great job!
