Printing a Bricklink Wanted List

I've searched using multiple keyword combos, and cannot find the answers. Apologies for starting a virgin thread for something so basic, but maybe someone knows.

Can you print a wanted list on Bricklink? And not just via the web browser. Is there a way to print it so that it prints the whole kit and kabootle with the fields to the right, colorful brick photo at left, etc.? It would be hugely helpful to me if there is a way.

Anybody know?

Thanks for taking the initiative to post this Blogzilly. I've been trying to figure out a way to do this as well the last couple of weeks.

It would make searching my current inventory so much more efficient!

The only way I was able to do it was through  my web browser.  Why does that way not work for you?  It displays everything you are asking for, for me anyway on Internet Explorer.

It doesn't appear they built that functionality in, I see no other way to print.  Did you try asking on the Bricklink forum?

    Here's one way:
    1. At the menu at the top, hover over Want and click on Wanted List.
    2. In the green bar on this screen, click Classic, then Wanted List.
    3. Set the parameters for display (View, In, and Hide/Show Items for Sale) and click Go.
    4. Here is something unfortunate, if you have Sets, Parts, and Minifigs all on the same list, you have to print them separately. Click on Show All next to the category you want.
    5. On the page that loads, here's a trick. By default, the site will only let you display up to 50 items per page. If you add "&wantedSize=100" to the end of the url and load that page, then you can have it display 100 items. You can change the number to whatever you want.
    6. Finally, click the printer icon () to get a "printer-friendly" page.
    7. Print through your browser.
Definitely not straightforward, but it gets the job done, until they remove the "Classic" view option.

I hope this helps you get it in a format you want!

My work requires I use it because it is compatible with other software we use.  Otherwise I use Chrome at home.

Ahhh Netscape Navigator! The memories. Dialup, Altavista, crappy webpages, 800x600 resolution...

long story short. It's not possible, even in roundabout ways it doesn't produce what the author of this thread requested.  I was just attempting this task myself the other day and after 1 hour and 15 minutes I decided on a roundabout way myself.

It would be nice if there was an "Export List" function...but I guess I'd have to take that up with Bricklink.

I just ended up using the snipping tool from Windows and pasted into a Word doc. Took me about 6 minutes (granted my list was only 2 pages at 100 items per page).

I must be missing something. In Chrome I just display my want list, right click on the page and choose "print" from the drop-down menu.

Not exactly what I was looking for, but close. I'll give it a try.

Bit of a necro-post (is that the terms? Sounds weird)

Has any functionality been added in the last 5 years? I appreciate when sellers put a printout of my order so it theres obviously someway of printing out lists, but is there any way of printing out wanted lists?

It may seem a bit old-fashioned, but I'm wanting to go through my lego and see what parts I have for a custom build and I find it easy to tick them off on paper.

I certainly understand the desire to print out a list. Anytime I'm hunting a bulk table at a Bricks & Minifigs I much prefer to have a list in hand to help focus my efforts and check stuff off.

That said, I've never found a good way of printing. Which means a lot of manual work to create my own printable version.

If anyone BL wizards know of something, please let us know!

I realised afterwards, that having made instructions to sell on rebrickable for the model I'm now looking to build for myself, that I had created a parts list at the end the back of the pdf... So printed that instead.

Bit of a roundabout way, so I guess if there's a more straightforward one I'm still interested to hear it.

10 points for sure... I KNEW I had gotten to this view before, but I didn't speak up earlier because I could not for the LIFE of me remember how in the heck I got there!  I've actually spent at least a couple of hours trying to get BACK to it as well, and never could.  Definitely kudos @[email protected]

I will say, this is on MS Edge, the new Windows default, if that makes a difference. Presumably, other browsers, OSes will be similar at this point.
