According to the price guide at bricklink.com, there were two transactions this month on 1,000 sets of DS each where the average price was ~$.02 per DS:

How did we miss that? :)

I doubt that, that was legitimate.

    Was definitely a scam.

How do you scam someone for 2 cents?

    Something is amiss there...

^^ Maybe the seller entered the wrong price?

    Might've been 2 cents but $400 shipping.

    Yes, but 1,000 of them?

I saw this last night and was tempted to place an order, but figured it would ultimately be more hassle than it was worth. The seller had an enormous number of sets listed. For DS alone, he claimed to have 100,000 units in stock and was selling them in bundles of 1000.

Perhaps he thinks he is selling them 1 part at a time? :)

    ^lol

It's definitely either for FB purposes or an incorrect number entered.
One time I placed a long order at a store that had completely messed their prices up. I have no idea how, but it happens.

@LegoFanTexas ...I just noticed the validity of that statement. It could very well be that they were incomplete sets of some sort such as "instruction booklet only" :)

I think they meant to enter a quantity of 2 for $1000 each? But that means that they would have to the decimals, so probably not. Weird. It also messes up the whole bricklink price history for that set.
