My son and I have a huge layout in the basement, but we decided to make a single loop that spanned our entire 1st floor. We then mounted his flip video camera on a wagon and took a trip around the circuit from lego level!

Fixed for you. You just need the 'normal' Youtube link, and the forum inserts the video.

Thanks for sharing! Makes me want to set up my train in the basement on the floor instead of on folding tables.

    Nice
Now just build all of your LEGO sets around the track and move into another house...lol :-)

    That's awesome.
Just finished setting up the monorail under the Christmas tree. Every year it gets bigger - this year it's two loops connected to each other - I'll try and post some pictures tomorrow!

ha ha, very cool. Wish that I had that much track (and an open plan house!)

Loaded up on 9v track about 5 years ago. Whole layout downstairs is 9v. I bought about 25 9v motors on clearance for about $6 ea. We're gonna set up another whole-house track over Christmas break. We'll post some more photos or videos. My son figured out last time that he can run the power function trains in the opposite direction of the 9v trains. You can picture how that turned out!!
