About Jeremy Clarkson's DRIVETRIBE

Hello chaps,

I believe that many of you may have watched the first two episodes of Clarkson, Hammond and May's new motoring show, "The Grand Tour". It was brilliant!

Also, Clarkson debuted the new car-related global community platform, which is called the "DRIVETRIBE".

It's a bit like Instagram but all with cars. (The truth is that all vehicles count.)

Everyone can create his or her own tribe. I created the "LEGO" tribe, which is dedicated to LEGO vehicles. All the members in the tribe can share their MOC, latest news of LEGO or professional materials such as TECHNIC mechanism discussions.

There have been over 1400 members in the tribe.

Following is the link to the tribe:

By the way, James May is in our tribe! Can't wait to see what he shall share with us!

Please feel free to check it out!

Until then, happy building!

Interesting. How do the "tribes" work? Are they sort of like sub-forums (a bit like subreddits on Reddit) based on individual car genres/models/interests?

I've seen a bit about Drivetribe recently (through ads on Facebook) but never looked into it. I'm also not a huge fan of sites where you have to sign in with your FB account, but I'm quite interested now!

Actually the tribes are like sub-forums, but not that much similar. Any post in any tribe can be reposted to any other tribe. For example, currently in LEGO tribe, there is a post about 10020 Santa Fe Super Chief, and any member interested in trains can share it with tribes associated with trains through reposting.

In that way, we can connect people with same interest like trains or LEGO, so as to make tribes bigger.

By the way, the direct registration and Twitter Sign-In function seems to be released next week, sorry about the wrong information.
