I thought it was odd you'd have zero.  LOL

Difficult question to answer without having a list of sets in the book, is there a bricklist somewhere? I have the book at home, but I have not opened it yet :-O

Officially it's 47.   But if I count the renumbered US sets that are identical to their European counterparts it's 52.  All but 16 of the 52 are originally mine.  Those most of those were added in the last few years.

Other than maybe 810 I can't say that there is much that I'd really like to add to my collect from this list.

I have 37 on the list at this time. Some I wish I still had.

47 sets officially with 7 renumbered sets from the older days.
  • An even 20, mostly recent - #396 Thatcher Perkins Locomotive is the earliest to appear.  The world's moved on (very happy with Emerald Night and the Hogwarts Express as my on-display trains at present), but I remember when the old girl seemed so big a build as to be almost intimidating.

I have Medieval Market Village, Haunted House, Parisian Restaurant, Simpsons House, Ghostbusters Ecto-1, and Detective's Office.

Also have a Lepin Green Grocer but I guess that doesn't count.

Thanks for the responses everyone :)

I've just worked it out, the combined value (used) for all the sets listed in the book would be around AU$24,000

The grand total for me is three definite ones. Looks like I might have the appropriate loose parts inherited from cousins back in the 70s to make a couple more really early sets but I don't recall seeing them built.

16 - six from 'the old days' and ten from the recent years. Thanks for reminding me of the book though, it's overdue a re-read to remind myself of all the fantastic sets I still need to get....
