Lego Awing pilot poly

ludzikludzik Member Posts: 429
I got 36 of them.  If you want one it's $5.38 + shipping.  If you want 5 or more, it's $27 shipped to US address (shipping WW will have $2 discount).  If you want all 36 it will be $170 with free shipping to anywhere in US and WW shipping highly discounted (depending on where you're at - hit me up for a quote)

Fyi - shipping to UK is $ 4.50 .  I think I can pack about 5 Poly bags into a package of that size/cost.  So 2  shipped would run $15.25.
5 shipped to UK would would run $29.50.  That's discounted price for both polybags and shipping.

BTW I forgot - payment is in USD and xfer as friends/family through PayPal as I got no margin for fees ;).
  • ludzikludzik Member Posts: 429
Down to 30 of them - any more takers?
  • monkeyhangermonkeyhanger Member Posts: 3,170
Anyone in the UK want one of these forwarded on at cost if I were to get 5 here to the UK? That would be looking like about £5.80 each (about £5.60 each with a first class large letter stamp, plus a 20p bubble wrap envelope.

@monkeyhanger count me in for one if you go for it.

@monkeyhanger would you be willing to send one to ireland? How much do you reckon that would be?
  • bandit778bandit778 Member Posts: 2,397
    @monkeyhanger
I would be up for one as well if you get them.
  • monkeyhangermonkeyhanger Member Posts: 3,170
Ludzik: I would be in the market for 5 to the UK at the price you quoted. Have you got any ebay/bricklink feedback, or can anyone on the forum here give you some? If not i'd add the 3% or so it is to afford some protection. PM me, thanks.
  • ludzikludzik Member Posts: 429
If you look at the feedback thread you'll see me.listed - I have been selling on and off and sent to UK quite often (even supplied Huw once or twice).  Never had an issue or complaint.

Ireland (not tracked) comes in at £2.40, so that's £1.46 more than a UK sent one. I'm guessing around the region of 8.40 Euros. I'd be getting proof of postage for everyone.

Monkeyroo, Scoiltreasa, Bandit 778: The deal has been done. I'll let you know when they get here so I can arrange postage and payments with you via PM.

All in it's cost me £24.68 after forex fees through Paypal, so that's £4.94 each + postage (£0.96) and a jiffy bag (£0.20) = £6.10 each (£7.56 to Eire for Scoiltreasa).

@Legoboy can I get in in your parcel?
  • LegoboyLegoboy Member Posts: 8,827
I'm not sure there is a parcel Snow.  The ship has already sailed, unless another minimum is met.
  • ludzikludzik Member Posts: 429
There is no minimum per se though the 5 poly's is the optimal shipping size cost wise :)
  • snowhitiesnowhitie Member Posts: 3,078
That's okay - no worries. I'll get one another way ;)

Good luck with the rest of them though @Ludzik!

@joel4motion and @Legoboy, I'm good for 2 as well - unless it increases postage doing 6 instead of 5.

Thanks for the offer though  @struddie
  • ludzikludzik Member Posts: 429
I can do $35 shipped for 6 to UK
  • ludzikludzik Member Posts: 429

It looks like the polys started arriving.  Please let me know as soon as you get them and I will post up feedback for the transaction.
  • monkeyhangermonkeyhanger Member Posts: 3,170
Nothing for me yet, but 5 working days from US to UK is still quite early. Will let you know when they're here.
  • ludzikludzik Member Posts: 429
Average is 10 to 14 ;). Got lucky once with a packet arriving in 7 though
  • monkeyhangermonkeyhanger Member Posts: 3,170
Anyone in the UK got theirs yet? Haven't got mine, but chances are the consignment will turn up tomorrow after posting this.

I have sent out yours on Nov 28th.  I mailed another that same day which arrived on the 10th.  Another set - mailed on 26th made to UK on Dec 3rd.  So depending on where abouts in UK are you in regards to customs and distribution you should see yours any day.
  • sonatine01sonatine01 Member Posts: 782
    I got mine yesterday.
  • monkeyhangermonkeyhanger Member Posts: 3,170
Hi Ludzik. Based on those timings, mine should be imminent. I'll let you know when they arrive.
  • LegoboyLegoboy Member Posts: 8,827
Our glow sticks were posted on the 30th November and delivered in the UK on the 6th December.

    Thanks.

Lol :). I probably should explain the packaging.  USPS requires a package of no more then .75" with fairly even envelope thickness.  If I didn't pack them that way it'd be about $9 more for shipping of the same content.  I figure it would make it not cost effective ;)
  • ludzikludzik Member Posts: 429
Ugh..I meant to say that the thickness requirement is so that it is classified as large envelope...
  • sonatine01sonatine01 Member Posts: 782
I wondered what the packing was all about, I nearly cried when I saw it but then my son ripped open a Lego dimensions box into a million pieces which nearly gave me a nervous breakdown (MUST KEEP BOXES MINT) and I completely forgot about the polybags ;-)

    Forgot my manners though @ludzik , so thank-you ! :-)
