[US] Target Vendor Discounts Missing

schultzy51schultzy51 Chicago, ILMember Posts: 5
I can't seem to find anyone else mentioning this in the forums, but I've noticed that Target discounts are no longer present on the Brickset buy page.  It's no longer available as a vendor in the pull down (http://brickset.com/buy/country-us).  Has there been any news on this?

I noticed that too.  It seemed to start right around the time that Target had so many 20% off on sets already reduced by 20%.

The good news was you could look at the Amazon price and pretty much know it was the same price at Target.  However, with no affiliate link to click, I was unable to give the credit to Brickset.

Maybe Brickset no longer has an affiliation with Target? That would be my guess.

Hm... yes, I just double checked. Effective June 1, 2016, Target stopped paying commissions on toys and electronics.

There was still a tab on the buy (US) page as of Sept 16, 2016 according to WayBackMachine (https://web.archive.org/web/20160915013253/http://brickset.com/buy).

Also, Target is still listed as an affiliate (http://brickset.com/about/affiliatemarketing)

@schultzy51 Target was an affiliate as of January 2016.

@akunthita, yes that's the case although until recently LEGO still appeared in its product feed. It disappeared a few weeks ago, so we can no longer show Target prices :-(

^^ Thanks for noticing, I'll modify the list.
