I would say 500-1000 at least and then bring out the minifigure in another form at a later date (e.g. as a keychain like Bumblebee Girl recently was, or as a polybag promo with a certain spend). At least this wouldn't create such a scarcity for those who actually want to own the minifigure and would give people a fair chance of obtaining it.

What time do these draws start? It seems like I miss it every week, and I always log on first thing in the morning.

@Jern92 seeing as this is just something thought up by our lovely generous @bendybadger, there isn't an official time to start, which is part of the fun ;) Could be Friday afternoon (GMT time) or evening, but it's come on at night or even Saturday morning too. Depends a bit on the non-Lego life of the raffle setter.

@Jern92 @snowhitie There is life outside Lego? Yes the draw times do tend to be a little random but that's part of the fun. Always feel a little sorry for people in differing timezones and I know our Australian contingent also miss quite a few draws too.  You just have to visit Brickset more often in order not to miss out. :)
