Success!
Er, to bring this back on topic: As I was about to leave for work this morning, I heard my nearly-three son scream in frustration and then the sound of LEGO falling apart on impact (with a wall, it turns out). The LEGO (several City trucks) is fine, though in pieces; the wall may need some touch-up.
You can all guess where that email went! ;-)
Yep, the trash! And I emptied the trash folder too after that!
(Ha ha, I do notice the word M***B**** isn't blanked out in the pic, sorry!)
Mind you, apart from numerous emails for me to trade in a £40 book on igneous geology for tuppence and a few recommending Lego sets I've already got, that was my first M***B**** one.
On another note, and my Lego status tonight is: certainly the last place you would see Lego for sale is surely the zoo? I happened to go to one today (Whipsnade), and in the gift shop I found, amongst other things, Lego! To be fair they all had animal themes to them, so the only ones for sale were Friends polys and a near-entire range of Legends of Chima. But still - one of the last places I'd expect to see Lego! I didn't take a pic even though I had my camera on me, but believe me, they stocked Lego!
Wonder if anyone else has spotted Lego for sale in places you wouldn't normally expect to find them?
Funny I'm missing rares like Grandma Visitor, Ocean King, and Rock Girl (EBAY- WOO! #sarcasm) but on 8 I missed all the EASY ones!
As for status, I've just finished the primary build of #6913 (because I was desperate for a lego fix after a couple of weeks without) with the window open to the cooler night air, listening to Tiesto playing the Olympic park just down the road. Mixed feelings about that one...dance music was my all-consuming passion for most of my dark ages (how times change), and it brought back lots of memories.
They really are trying to expand their products, aren't they? They even had #70006 in stock there, yep, the expensive one. Nice touch anyhow for Lego to expand their market for Chima, obvious animal tie-in and all. Although I doubt the lions at London Zoo will become anthropomorphic and start freaking the visitors out! :-P
"M*** B*****. No contest who wins there but what about MiniMates?"
Also can't wait to get home and take photos of my iron patriot polybag!
My wallet is just hurt
First in the world to have the full set of SDCC 2013 Superheroes!
Barely survived the SDCC weekend online Bonanza.
Who says my son needs to go to college.
Now half my Fifteen Birds in Five Fir Trees is better. With pine cones. :)
Can't wait, but have to ..... to do the full mod, when I have all the sets.
^I may now be complete for SDCC 2011, 2012 and 2013. But you're still ahead of me with the Toy Fair Pair @Geddes. I'm still Hulk-green with envy many months since that.
@brickdancer i wonder how many of all them bricksetters end up with

Yes, I'm so excited that these people I've never met have had a child that I'm going to drop £210 on Lego....
It's nice for them of course and a significant moment in history (of the future really), but I was much more excited about the birth of @Minifigsme's daughter :-)
Plus, is it really the case that the phrase 'Royal Birth' is a trademark? But in all seriousness, congrats for the royal baby.
But back on topic: My Lego status today: Waiting for a Brickmaster book I bought off eBay last Thursday and shipped Friday morning, and it still hasn't arrived! Are Royal Mail taking the day off today or something!?
I don't think there's a weekend that I love and hate more than SDCC weekend.
The CMF line should deffo include a mum pushing a pram with baby inside.
:) @brickdancer your move
Did you pick up Azog?
My status: beginning to regret my plan of collecting all LotR sets (based partially on the idea that Lego was too busy with Super Heroes and Star Wars to release any event exclusives). Micro Bag End won't be too bad of a blow but Azog may become that one set I couldn't quite get.
