I'm sitting here, reading this thread, in its entirety....a very English community. I like saying "fancies" instead of "wants", now. For example, I fancy a chocolate milkshake with whip cream and a cherry on top.
Hope that wasn't ignorant....
It's been all buying and almost no building lately so I've lost track of my stuff apparently. Going to find something to open tonight!
The Eagle is really good but also needs to be 4 times bigger.
I guess I'll have to build one. :)
Then might I suggest the Creator Eagle set. Up until recently that is where my Gandalf was...
Sorry, another of my famously bad observational jokes. Hope you see the funny side of it :-P
You're West London according to your intro thread. Tell me that's not your car!
I was also in Surrey today, so absolutely definitely not me :-) But I do hope you find out who parked in your space.
Just making a bad joke about the fact that the number plate said 'UCS' on it really. :-P
All I know is, there'll be a big parcel stuffed with Lego that cost me next to nothing coming to a doorstep near me in August!
Thankful to be able to use FB/YouTube/see blogs again!
It's unbelievable how much LEGO goodness you miss out on because of it...
To be fair, though, my son has a small collection of his own City sets with minifigures, and I have a bunch of old minifigures from my childhood which I occasionally let him play with. I certainly don't expect her to know which is which.
The bloke behind the counter told me the Lone Ranger sets will be going out as soon as they arrive. He didn't know when that would be though, but did tell me he thought there was a delivery due Tuesday (If I'm remembering what he said correctly).
@Huw, might be time for that username change :)
A sealed series 9 Waiter, at first I thought it was just an empty package, but no harm in checking right? I guess someone must have dropped it and not noticed.
If you don't have room for I could take it off your hands, i'm sure I could find room for it. ;-)
Don't worry, I've had quite a few of those dreams myself ;-) It's perfectly normal AFOL behaviour ;-)
If all my dreams became real, I'd be overloaded with Mr Golds!
Surely a new PaB speed record? 52 hours from order confirmation to receiving order? They usually take 13 working days, this one took 2 and a half! :-)
A 10/10 to S@H for that one, especially since my last PaB order took 2 weeks to arrive!
