While we were camping, the family surprised me with #75330 Dagobah Jedi Training! This was definitely on my Want list, but something I figured I'd have to luck into further down the line. It's my first new LEGO in several months and, despite the pending move in the next five weeks, I'm tempted to build it and take it a part just to scratch the itch!
After seeing the images from the new Avatar set and the tree that is included, inspiration struck. Unfortunately, the longer antenna's used in that set don't come in trans-clear or white (except for a few out there at $3+/each). I'm trying to think through alternatives to achieve a similar look and this is one part that I've looked at as a potential solution.
Did you buy anything?
I also managed to pick up #40346 LEGOLAND, which I have wanted for a while and a friend recently visited Legoland Windsor, so picked up #40429 Ninjago World and #40473 Water Park for me, which are nice additions to my collection of Theme Park-related sets.
Other than that, I have built #76956 T. rex Breakout, which is a lovely set and #21333 Vincent van Gogh - The Starry Night, which blew me away. Even my Lego-averse other half commented that it looked amazing! I might try to persuade her to allow me to add it to the small amount of Lego that we have in the Living Room (#10281 Bonsai Tree and #10283 NASA Space Shuttle Discovery).
What else? Err, #75330 Dagobah Jedi Training Diorama, #31129 Majestic Tiger, as well as all of the new Lego City Space sets are waiting to be built, along with the first wave of Lego Minecraft sets for 2022. I've not yet started collecting the second wave, but did point out in the Lego Minecraft thread elsewhere on the forum that 2022 has already smashed the record for the number of Minecraft sets released: EIGHTEEN so far!
Starry night, couple of HP sets, police station and a Friends set! Thanks for asking!
