With all this COVID-19 business, I've missed out on two good Lego sales & it seems I may have missed the chance to complete the DC series of CMFs. Going to have to raid Xiahna's beauty therapy supplies for some gloves so I can attempt get the latest CMF series out of the way.

Haven't been able to get on here much, thanks in part to a 5 month old that's the size a 12 month old, plus two other kidlets we've had to homeschool through the quarantine, but with the state government starting to lift restrictions, that will be remedied.

Bought two gallon bags of used LEGO and some instructions at an antique mall. One bag had the yellow rocket piece I need for my Blacktron Renegade; other bag has maybe half of #6951- and those instructions are in the third bag, along with instructions for #6375, #6929, #6890, #6846, and #6804. A few of the parts for those are in bag 2. I have several of them, but these instructions are in much better condition. The red 6x12 plate that makes the awning for the gas station still has the 1x4 and 1x6 plates on top! Most pieces from those sets are ing good condition; some of the other random parts are chewed up. And bag one had a few dozen TYCO blocks in it. They are in very good shape- perhaps little used? TYCO plates are half a brick in height. All in all, I'm happy with the ~$33 I spent.

Was talking to my local toy store. (The owners, not the shop itself) and they said that they have delivery dates of July 1st for all 1st June releases. They don't know what they're going to get from their orders and when it will be delivered basically. I hope it's not a months delay but what can ya do?

My wish list went from about 6 sets to about 37 in 30 minutes of browsing [email protected] I have to narrow it down to Birthday sets and sets I will buy in stores throughout the year.

Currently: Surprised. I went from 287 supporters on my IDEAS project to 307. Literally today. Shocked, and praising God, because without Him, I wouldn't be alive to build!

I feel your pain @Mr_Cross Need a small pile of parts for a MOC (£15 worth) found them all with a BL seller in France, contacted him and he was business as usual with the warning that shippings takes a couple days longer than normal. Ordered late April and the order was marked as shipped the next day. Fingers crossed I thought I'd be building the end of the week....its now three weeks later and after a couple of ignored emails I finally get a response saying he actually posted it May 5th and gives me a tracking number, this shows it appearing in the French postal system May 5th and thats it. Its not even left the country two weeks later. I'm hoping they are just very slow.
Its annoying though as it was the only seller I found with everything I needed. Ordering from the UK I would have needed five different sellers with five lots of postage. Its not the end of the world if its lost or never arrives as I can get a refund and just give up on the MOC.
Well some progress, 18 days after arriving at a French post office and four weeks after I ordered, the tracker has finally updated that the parcel left the country late last night! I may see my pieces before lockdown ends!

Just to clarify - we’ve done this many times before; many kragled LEGO sets have been hung in this tree - hence we knew we needed the steps.

At the risk of sounding ignorant, why are you hanging glued LEGO sets in a tree?  :-)

What a great tribute idea.  I’m guessing you use the same tree everytime.  Do you ever go back and find a set still hanging there?

Did a quick run out today. My first trip out of the county since the beginning of lockdown and it was to pay tribute to a lovely boy. I have to admit to a little ‘kragling’  and we looked pretty daft carrying a step ladder up into the moor but success was mine and a little piece of LEGO is hanging in a tree.
Ah, didn’t see the full post before... sounds like a nice memorial

@Speedman29 Huzzahs! Fingers crossed for you when it enters the UK system. The anxiety and trepidation we suffer caused by tiny parcels of bits of plastic is really quite absurd.

Thrown sharply into perspective all too often :-( ...

@Salamalex that's heartbreaking, your choice of t-shirt too. Sorry for your loss, it's a fine tribute!

@flightrisk - unfortunately not. The first few times we did it I hoped we would but it’s a windy corner of the world. We don’t go very often as it’s quite a trip from home. There are usually loads of different things (ribbons, cards, flowers) hanging from various branches but this time there were none.

That must be some tree.  Only a portion of it shows up in the picture.
Thank you for sharing that idea.

I'm currently remaking my stopmotions and reviews of some some older videos I've made on my YouTube channel. Also uploading some speed builds over there recently:

I've long wanted to build one of RoscoPC's 1:8th scale F1 cars, but they are huge and a quite pricey MOC to build. Late last year he showed a smaller SC scale version of one of them and now he has released instructions and part lists for eight of them. Trying to decide where to start!

Bit quiet in here, feel like I'm talking to myself! Chose three cars from the 70s, BL orders placed and they've started to arrive. Decided to just colour sort each car on a separate line of an old advent calendar liner.

Went to my local LEGO store today. Felt good, although the experience was a bit muted. Limited capacity and you had to stay in the middle of the space. You aren’t allowed to approach the shelves. Still was nice, and they had a fair amount of D2Cs in stock, but no Hogwarts Castle :(

Placed a [email protected] order literally just for the awesome GWP. That's definitely an abnormality for me.

On a related note... the amount of items on [email protected] that are still out of stock is getting to the point that it's quite frustrating. I wish that more of them were at least allowed to be back ordered.

Whew, it feels like forever since I've been on here. Gundam building has taken most of my budget. But, I found CMF S20 at Target and just had to grab the knight. Best. Minifigure. Of. The. Series. Hands down. He's awesome. And that sword is epic. Plus, the knight from 15(?) has printed arms that'd look great on this new dude.

My Lego status: pissed off. Saved up for weeks to buy the Monkie HQ and the Haunted House. They were in stock last Saturday and was about to get at least one but they sold out just as before I went to order. Then I thought I might get a Harry Potter set but they’re out of stock within a day of release as well. WTF is going on with their quantities?

Australian [email protected] got very little. I put my order in about 20 past midnight on the 1st of June. By about 1am alot of new releases were out of stock or had their status changed to coming soon. I wanted 4 of the new Harry Potter sets but I promised a local store I'd buy from them but I still have them on my wish list. 2 were out of stock within an hour (Astro tower and Privet Drive) and the other 2 are coming soon.

Even before Covid 19 out [email protected] was understocked. Haven't been into a Lego store or major Lego retailer like Myer in months so don't know their stock levels. I just hope we get more stock soon.

Thanks. I saw they all got restocked about 3 or so today and grabbed the Demon Bull and the HQ. Just putting the head on the warrior mech tonight. I think that’ll do me for this series. The trucks and the bike are a bit underwhelming, although I might get the truck with the panda store because I believe that attaches to the store from the mech set.

Rearranged my Boba Fett display (and did some much needed dusting in the process) to include the new helmet #75277. It really does look fantastic next to the UCS Slave 1!

I really need to get some under-shelf lighting for this area!

(P.S. anybody selling a Zuckuss for a reasonable price?)

That odd realization moment when the promo sets are a bit more exciting than the stuff you actually ordered. I loaded up on accessory packs to hit the GWP threshold when I realized that the new sets I wanted weren't available yet on Monday. These two little cars were both def worth it though! :D

I am getting tired of wasting money on Series 20 orders. Before I implement a return I'm going to ask folks here, how long did it take to get all 16 without being allowed to do the feel method in stores?

Better yet what's the case placement of everybody? If by some miracle I find an untouched case I'd like to know where the drone boy and brick costume guy are, because after over a case worth of orders with 60+ between them I've gotten 8 or more Super Warriors. 7 Sea Rescuers and way, way, way to many Pajama Girls.

Last 1970s F1 car completed. The less well know March 751. Winner of the 1975 Austrian GP.
Really enjoyed building these. If I can figure out the space I'll build one of the 1:8th scale versions one day!

I grabbed two fistfulls on two seperate visits to Walmart last month and ended up with:  3 Brick Suit Guys, 1 Space Fan, 3 martial Arts Guys, 1 Drone Boy, 1 Sea Rescuer, 1 Breakdancer, 1 Piñata Boy, 1 Tournament Knight, 1 Pirate Girl, 1 Pyjama Girl, and 1 Viking.
I'd have liked to get the 80's Rocker Guy as well, but I don't really want anyone else nor any more doubles of the ones I have. The second grab already felt a bit sketch, as the boxes had already been gone through at that point by others.I cringed just grabbing them at all at that point, hahaha.

You want an 80's Rocker Guy? I got five, two still sealed. You want to trade for the Brick Suit Guy dupe you got if you don't want it drop me an IM.

Anybody else want to trade something I need one more Pea Costume Girl, two Drone Boys, at least one more Martial Arts Boy and the Brick Suit Guy. What I have to offer...

Sealed Sea Rescuer or Open Sea Rescuer, depends on if you want to open one or not.
    3 Space Fans all sealed.
Sealed Super Warriors, at least three.
    Three Sealed Vikings.
    1 Breakdancer.
    3 Pajama Girls.
2 or 3 Sealed Tournament Knights... I forget how many I actually have amongst all the sealed bags I haven't opened.
The 2 80's Rocker Guys I mentioned above.
1 Pirate Girl too still sealed. (Why hasn't LEGO re-used the PotC sword holders in the CMF line? That part would have been useful to get multiples of for all the Pirates Minifigures who don't own one.)

And I believe that's all I've got in my big, big pile of trade fodder. Again, anybody in Canada lucky enough to get too many of the ones I need to finish my set and what I'd like to have I'm open to trades.
