Well, I'm struck out with CS on the Space Ride set. Despite none of the advertisements indicating the $130 threshold for the promo, they've stuck to their guns that it won't be modified. A guy can hope, right?

So, if anyone is planning a purchase for more than $130 between now and the end of the month and wants the code, let me know. I certainly can't afford to use it.

I received a text from LEGO yesterday afternoon telling me to reply with FINALE if I was watching the LEGO Master's season finale. In return, they'd send me a code for a free Space Ride set with my next purchase. The codes were to be sent out this morning...but still have not received anything.

Did anyone else get this, reply, and then receive the code?

I got a code Thursday morning.  Got another text Friday morning that said they "have closed the campaign" and it could take up to 72 hours to get the code.  Don't know if I want to put in an order for $130 worth of sets as I've already spent a fortune in the past month between [email protected], Target & Walmart deals.  Pretty much anything I would order from them right now is either Back-ordered or out of stock.  Trying to decide if I should snag the Hidden Side Haunted High School from Costco @ $99.

Celebrating my engagement to my Fiancèe by building #21320 and #75252. Loving the Dinosaur fossils. They look really realistic and you can get some great poses from them. I really hope that Lego decide to release some of the other designs.

I am really tempted to go in with getting some of the old 90's LEGO sets I had as a kid or wanted. To build not to keep. Thing is living in a small market they aren't as common and the prices can be pretty steep. I would prefer to get new or complete in box and that will set me back even more.

I don't think this helps the disaster-level status of my Modular City.

Curious as to why Maui felt the need to swing across town in this manner... I also like how Baby Groot is supervising the chaos from a distance...

^ I 'like' this comment, but am also horrified at the prospect of opening a perfectly sealed set from the '90's.  I'm sure there's a bevy of used sets out there on the Australian landmass that are looking to be returned to their former glory.

And much cheaper options - despite shipping - from the US or elsewhere that could a better (cost-effective) option.

@Speedman29 , VROOOOM! It's great in Forza Horizon 4! As for me, still sorting, working on contest MOCs...And IDEAs MOCs. Had to figure out crazy techniques.

I had a think about it going through ebay and thought. No I don't need the box but I would like to re assemble them again. What am I going to do with the box? Like I do now. Display some and throw the rest away.

Today I’ve finally decided I don’t need to keep every single box from my 6 years of Lego purchases. I will keep boxes for the larger sets, some of which have been repacked for storage, and things like Ideas, but realised that as I don’t intend ever selling any of my Lego and other sets I’ve broken down are now just part of my general brick and minifigure collection, the boxes are really just clutter. But I am currently going to keep all the instructions so now need to decide how best to file/store those instead. And also work out how many weeks worth of recycling collections this is going to take!

So apparently I was logged out of my account on LEGO Shop @ Home. Ok, fine, no big deal.

    1) Forgot my password, don't have it written down anywhere to remind me.
    2) Tried to log in with my username, username isn't recognized the store keeps thinking I'm starting a new account.
    3) Wanted to order Series 20... now I have to wait until Customer Service can sort things out to help me get back online.

My LEGO status right now. Frustrated, annoyed, and why didn't I write down my password in my special password storing notebook so I wouldn't forget it? UGH, too many online sites, too many passwords, too many changes required constantly... I am sad.

That (#7905) is the one set I REALLY want for my City, with #10197. Never found one in good enough shape or at a good enough price though...

I store my instructions in Leitz archive boxes - the suspension folders allow for easy organizing.

@Gibbo1959 I cam to this conclusion a few years back. I was swamped in boxes from hundreds of sets. In the end anything big like Modular or Technic or Ideas was kept, all others were recycled. I have an eight draw Really Useful tower for instructions. I have a drawer for SW, City, Technic etc. Fairly compact and easy to find things.

Thanks @stlux & @Speedman29 I think some sort of box system will be the way to go. As I use RUBs for my bricks and minifigures, a tower sounds like a good option. This has been quite a ‘releasing’ exercise!

I ended up with an 'incomplete' one off of eBay after searching for a few months (probably years), and I made a low-ish offer.  Very, very happy with the results!

Going to miss being able to squeeze the latest CMFs in the shops and find them all. If any UK Bricksetters are looking to buy a full box I'd be interested in a full set.

I use really useful boxes with suspension folder inserts for mine. Seems to work ok.

Today's build was the Mini Buggy. Quite fun and chunky and massive compared to the 67 Cooper.

I've recently added some file cabinets to my storage system. They currently don't actually hold files...just boxes and bags of LEGO. But they'll eventually be a nice clean way to manage some storage.

The plus side is, if you're patient, you can get them for free on Offer Up or Craigs List. If you're not feeling like you want to wait, then you can grab them for a steep $10.

I need to add one more, hopefully a two-drawer. I can then use one of the drawers for instructions.

Been sorting, and admittedly quite nervous. Trying to find one of the decorated panels from one of the Radiator Springs Lightnings. I'm sure it's here, somewhere, but I want it accounted for now. Does anyone else get nervous about misplaced pieces?

Oh yeah. I am trying to gather all the pieces for Blacktron. They were sorted into my boxes of parts in 1992 or 93 and never built since. For #6894 Invader, there are two 1x2 panels in transparent yellow. I only found one. So I checked the inventory on Bricklink to see where I could borrow one. As it turns out, the two in Invader are the only two! "Nooooo!" Looked again through that box and found the second. Whew.

@560Heliport Yay, I'm not alone! On the topic of those pieces I mentioned, does it feel like to anyone else that white or white family prints on a non white background STILL haven't gotten much better? The 2x4s I'm referring to are red with Lightning's Radiator Springs design on them, but Buzz's face from the CMF, and the TS4 series seem off, too. Is there any case where buying new copies on BL would be better than what I got in the sets? The RS tiles either show through thinly, or look like the print is not as strong, and Buzz's face is definitely weak.

I'm almost finished with the LEGO Technic Rough Terrain Crane. I think this is one set that I might MOC (or attempt to at least).

If you have kept the boxes or have a good scan of the back of the boxes of your old sets have you ever done any of the alternate builds?

I only saved a very few boxes, but at the time, yes, I loved trying to figure out just how to build the alternates.

I built up all of my Spyrius sets except for #6959 for which I'm waiting on a couple of parts in a BL order that's set to arrive tomorrow. Then I'll build that set up and get them all out on display for some pictures. I'll tell you what... it's a good looking group!

Pretty sure, based on feel, that I picked up the last 5 figs I needed to finish off CMF series 30. this morn on my way to work. Haven't cracked them open yet. Still missing 4 to complete the DC set. Don't think I'm gonna see more of them locally though.

Well, I found one... but the box I found it in doesn't make sense or offer any hint as to where the other might be. I might cry.

I strolled into the Lego isle while hitting up Walmart for some essentials on Monday and picked up a few sets to amuse myself with. This one turned out to be my 420th set in the Brickset database, a fun landmark for this month. It's one of those sets that I've always liked the look of but never went out of my way to get, but it decided to come home with me this time. It was a fun build with some interesting new (to me, at least) techniques deployed to get it's unique shaping. I'm really happy with this one!

I wish I had managed more knights.  I passed on the red ranger & the martial arts guy.  I ended up with 2 athletes that I mistook for the viking.  At least I know what to feel for now with the viking.  Don't know when I'll get a chance to search again.  I also have a couple of extra Pinata boys that may go back, didn't realize I grabbed that many.
