What's your LEGO 'status' today?

Wife and I got to working on #75948 tonight. We will try to drag this build out for as long as possible in order to keep us occupied with some variety during our isolation :)

Had two incorrect pieces in the townhouse side of the Bookshop build. Two 1x3 instead of a 1x2 and 1x4. Contacted CS and within a couple of days this arrived. Two of each missing piece and a Friends Pod for my daughter. Top work LEGO.

#75252 arrived yesterday after a SNAFU from the DHL guy. (used the more expensive DHL shipping since i prefer DHL over DPD). Delivery guy almost missed the big package. Luckily it got obvious 5 minutes after he shipped and he returned and delivered it. Was already digging out the shipment information (somehow the Lego mail swallowed the second tracking number).

Got my VIP points turned into a certificate and waiting for the Pirate Bay to go live. Probably wasn't going to grab this day 1 originally but stuck indoors and the fact it can rebuild into a ship makes it perfect for now.

How do you know you got the free easter egg,orderd mine at 2 mins past 12 and it never mentioned a easter egg where do i look?

Promos like that appear as free item in cart when you get them.

Likewise, I saved my points for this moment! Ordered soon after midnight. No freebies in Switzerland. I bought 2x Pirate bay - one to keep as the bay and one to keep as the Ship! Justified the use of the VIP points to get the second Pirate bay half price! At least, this is my logic and the one I will be presenting to the judge (my wife!).

I never saw mine during ordering, but it was in the confirmation mail I got a little later!

I was able to order at 11 PM CST... two freebies still available - they showed up in the cart and in the email later...

I just today got my order including the bunny which is as cute as it looks and very fast simple fun build. I made mine cross eyed and I think he's even cuter that way! I think I'll try making it in an other color!

Okay ... I got a bit carried away. Building the bunny was so much fun I had to make it some friends, the yellow one of course being the original.

They were fun to do as well except for all the hunting through my stash for parts! It sort of looks like Yellow Bunny is whispering to Whitey or trying to get her to wake up. I had more of those other eyes but was tired of using those so grabbed those eyelash ones instead.

Finally broke down and purchased #10181 and in the process of building it. I must say the bottom is definitely flimsy before everything gets attached

Went for our government approved walk today. Theres a flyover with some amazing graffiti on it including Baby Yoda, we took The Mandalorian along with us!

I am! English English, not American! A flyover is like a glorified bridge, takes a major road over another road making it a quicker route. This is the underside of a local motorway that bypasses a minor road through the housing estate!

This is the other SW one on one of the other pillars.

The pillars are about 5m tall and 10m wide for scale. They had a massive AT-AT Hoth scene the other year. Its been set aside as a place for local graffiti artists to go and get a blank canvas to work on, they get painted over every few months and there is very little tagging to be seen.

I just dismantled my #6979 to find the insulation on the wires is disintegrating! One is okay, the other pretty much ruined. I'm going to try to pry the plate parts apart and see if they can be rewired. I have five more, but they're probably in worse shape- they're all older.

The isolation is really getting to my mother-in-law - can’t go out or see her grandkids ‘cause we fear Covid would have a field day with her system. Yesterday I jokingly asked if she wanted us to get her a Lego set. We laughed and I thought nothing more of it.

Today she texted “Yeah get me one!” So I ran out and grabbed #31088 Deep Sea Creatures and the #30550 Easter Bunny poly, along with a #40271 Easter Bunny Brickheadz I had sitting around unopened. Delivered them earlier this afternoon. And now we wait to see if this Danish virus takes hold...

Maybe there will be a whole new wave of older lady AFOL's after this is all over. I know just having LEGO to build and store and such has saved my sanity through this.

My mum had asked to borrow #31105 after I'd reviewed it for Brickset, which is the first time I've ever known her to show interest in a Lego set! That was before all this, obviously, but she's feeling very much like your mother-n-law I think @lessjunkfood - can't leave the house or see her grandchildren. Perhaps I should suggest she get some Lego!

My old LEGO wires are starting to do this too. Wondr why.

I just got the "Shipped" email... the excitement.. we finally got there :-D

I found out there's a charity shop in which you can buy Lego by kgs, too bad it's a quarantine. Gotta check it out after all of this will blow over.

I’ve been slowly selling off a variety of themes and  adding to my Classic Space collection... today was a banner day for me personally as I am now able to move the check mark from “want” to “own” on this beauty...

I’ll post some pics when it arrives... I have to say as much as I’m looking forward to getting started on Barracuda Bay, I’m even more eager to build this...

How much was it? I have one to sell (maybe 2) Recently retired modular prices seem all over the place, with brick Bank going for the most, then Detectives Office, Parisian Restaurant and then Pet Shop. The price of the Brickbank is more than I'm willing to spend aftermarket. As nice as it is, I'm no completionist to be spending more than double retail on it. Considering Detectives Office.

Interesting you say that, my 8 yr old daughter decided to do just that on a walk, she grabbed an old pair of kitchen tongs and went around the block with me in tow holding the rubbish bag.
