Ahhh but posting about it lets a bunch of us off the hook on equally stupid stuff!
But I think tonight I'm going to finally get started on that big Arctic set where they find the woolly mammoth...
EDIT - Hmm, maybe not. I see they're marked as Sold Out instead of Out of Stock. I'll get that kick ready to go sooner than later.
I was never able to find copies of the Lego Movie 2 Brickheadz, so I decided to have a go at BrickLinking a Benny. Instead of trying to buy the overpriced printed brick from the actual BH set I used part 3004p90 (from sets like 928 and 6927) and built around that.
I was pretty pleased with the result so I dug out some white and light grey logo bricks to give Benny some companions...
Now I wish that Lego had made this piece in red, green, etc. I may look into custom stickers to finish out the color spectrum sometime down the road.
@KungFuKenny, I love those! That may need to be my alternative too to fill this gap in my BHz.
In other news, I was going through a bulk lot I purchased awhile back and thought I saw a few pieces for #70814 Emmet's Construct - O - Mech. I started pulling pieces and have confirmed that it's in the lot. Based on my sorting of just the yellow pieces, I'm estimating I have about 98% of it. I should finish sorting tonight, then a quick BL order! Super excited as I've wanted this set for awhile now.
That’s on the list for sure...
You're likely to see significant delays at this point in the year. Honestly, you're lucky that it wasn't shut down entirely, as it's not uncommon for B&P to be shut down for almost the entirety of Jan. and Feb. This is their busiest time of the year, as they are focused on providing replacement parts for the flood of sets that went out for Christmas.
Just got it at 1pm today. They don't even need 48h!
I can't even imagine the horror of dropping an entire build. That sounds terrible. Hopefully the parts turn up before cleaning day!
