So you do love raised base plates :-) Post pics once you start building! I’ve not heard of that store but I’m up near DFW a few times a year so maybe worth a visit...
Spoke to the staff, and one member that usually takes care of it has been ill, so hopefully it'll be better soon.
I agree, it should be pretty easy to re-create from parts on hand... I decided to make vanilla and chocolate versions as well!

When I used a shorter windscreen the body of R2 would fit, but I decided I preferred the slightly longer/newer windscreen so had to settle for attaching his head in place only...
The boxes look like they are gift wrapped. How are they sealed? With seal tape or do you open them with punch tabs?
...maybe I should stop making purchases after my wife goes to bed?
On the plus side, I now finally have my 3 bears from Brave!
