So you do love raised base plates :-) Post pics once you start building!  I’ve not heard of that store but I’m up near DFW a few times a year so maybe worth a visit...

Picked up this gorgeous specimen to form a foundation for the next Ninjago expansion:

Could I shoehorn an Old Fishing Store on that platform?

Yeah it is definitely worth it. They even have the Unitron monorail NIB among their treasures. (Last set to feature a Ramp and Pit raised baseplate btw). A buddy from the LUG here started it a couple years ago.

PaB at the Utrecht store is becoming less and less interesting; of the limited amount of slots, several are doubly filled, mostly with 2x2 and 4x2 bricks.

Spoke to the staff, and one member that usually takes care of it has been ill, so hopefully it'll be better soon.

Its nice, but I'm not sure it £200 GWP nice. Thanks for the instructions, might have a go building one later.

Walked into the office to be greeted by a big box....
....tree looks great and will be built soon. Saturn V is my post Christmas building treat. Just added a pair of PF lights to get over the GWP limit.

@KungFuKenny That looks great with your modifications! I built one in Stud.io based on the video @CCC shared earlier, I do struggle to see how it's a £200 GWP though…

@KungFuKenny Mods are perfect.  I'll have to do that myself.  Don't understand why Lego didn't do that.  The Lego tile would have at least helped the $200 justification.  Helped, not fully justified.

@KungFuKenny Chocolate brick M-m-m-m! In real chocolate, of course. Your addition of the Lego logo to the red brick is a vast improvement.

Cancelled a Lego order as I decided that I could not afford it and did not really want it. I think I am coming down with something. I hope it is not catching....

or why they didn't make the top of the brick easy to take off so you could store stuff inside it.

What the deuce? Your country still has Yellow Submarines? @Basty. I have wanted it for many years, and here I thought that thing wasn't available anywhere anymore. And look at all those gorgeous Polys... oh if only I could afford a trip out of Canada right now. So many opportunities to amass a fortune in LEGO.

Packing a couple of the City magazine arctic explorer skidoos to build and play with on a little break. Taking Little Miss Speedy to Lapland tomorrow to see the fat man in red. We've got four days in the Arctic Circle, we're quite excited.

When I used a shorter windscreen the body of R2 would fit, but I decided I preferred the slightly longer/newer windscreen so had to settle for attaching his head in place only...

That's where you went wrong. You're supposed to use Zobo in a proper Friends craft, yo!

Made a Bricklink order about 3 weeks ago from Malaysia that arrived here today, and super stoked about it!  There was some other stuff, but the highlights are pictured below.  The boxes were MUCH nicer than I expected them to be!

The boxes look like they are gift wrapped.  How are they sealed?  With seal tape or do you open them with punch tabs?

I starting opening the SW, Friends, and City calendars, and realized that, though HP isn't my thing, I really wanted parts from it.(Scarf, bowtie, candles, 1x1 half round tile in red and black) so I grabbed one. (I don't know about the rest of you guys,(and ladies), but I look through parts lists before buying a set,( if it isn't Disney, 6W Speed Champions, or trains) to see if a part would be useful.)))

They are sealed with the little clear circular seals.  The boxes are nice, thick and cubic.  Tops cover the entire side, with two seals on the bottom of the box.

My youngest was ill all weekend, so didn't manage to get to any Lego Store. Gutted that I couldn't get the big batmobile+little batmobile+christmas tree. Oh well, at least my guy is feeling a bit better - winter is never good for him, so you roll with the punches until March.

Well, another small purchase made last night that broke my "no more Lego spend for the rest of the year" pledge to myself. I definitely have that feeling of guilt like I did with my last purchase that brought about my pledge. *sigh*

...maybe I should stop making purchases after my wife goes to bed?

On the plus side, I now finally have my 3 bears from Brave!

*phew*. My black friday purchases arrived in good condition with all the promos added in each box.  Still doesn’t make that SAH black friday fiasco worth it but it does keep it from being worse.

I built  42093. It's quite cool. I wish it were motorized, but since I use Windows, maybe it's fine that it isn't. I don't know of a Control+ app on Windows..

Has anyone come across an XML file for Bricklink for the Batmobile promo? I'm going to Bricklink one and I'd love to use a list already created instead of having to go through part by part and make one.
