Due to various reasons, need to trim down my Lego collection. :(

Yesterday sold some sets at my local online afol forum (Uruk Hai army, Chinese New Year sets, Wall-E, EXO Suit, BTTF, Mill Village, Medieval Market, Hobbit etc) and in just 1 day my Lego collection is down by 9K parts.

For any gamers out there, EPIC Games currently has 6 free Batman games. A three pack of the Lego Batman games for free. It expires in 11 hours I believe.

^Got these last night.  Already played the first 2 on PS3 and I've got the 3rd in my Steam Library from a previous sale, same with the Arkham games also in the pack, but free games are free games so good excuse to replay some (all) of those. :)

I'm finally able to start playing through the Lego LOTR game I got awhile back. It's pretty fun so far.

Lego LOTR kept bugging out in levels for me back in the day when I was playing it. Making me re-do entire levels. Haven't touched it since.
I did recently finish Lego Movie 2. I like the changes they made. I find that better having one character that can do everything. Cycling through different characters that do a certain function when you were being spammed with guns, lasers and enemies trying to kill you did get on my nerves at times. It also never bugged making me re-do parts of the game.
I like Lego games but I never knew if the game was being overly cryptic or it had bugged and I was running around looking for something to do to advance or it was pointless because the game had bugged.

I did end up buying Newbury Haunted High School. $50 off as well. Now we wait for the new Star Wars sets.

Just left the brand new LEGO Store here in Jax, FL. I can hardly believe we have one here! Didn’t purchase anything, as I’ll be showing up for the grand opening on Oct. 5, which will include some nice promos :)

Bought the Brand Store today from The LEGO Store, the one from I believe 2017. Definitely glad I did.

Its been a wet day here, so I decided to carry on with the rebuild of my freebie bargain #8070 Technic set. Chassis is mostly complete and the suspension works fine and all drive shafts are the correct length, one of the reasons the previous owner got shot of it! There does appear to be a piece missing so far, but I found a replacement in my stash. Whilst I was in the kitchen, Little Miss Speedy was in the lounge pulling bits off Freidns and Elves sets and making a monster sized beach house.

Adorable! Well, my IDEAS Casey Jr. project hit 100 supporters, so I celebrated with a video.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4wl6Q5sKR9U

So, question for anybody who might know. I've decided that if I build a circus tent, it needs to be yellow.(Movie accurate.) If you were building something like that, would you do it out of plates, or would you use the canopies from the Carousel for the top? https://brickset.com/sets/10257-1/Carousel (I realize I'm probably overthinking this, but I'm trying to be accurate, and hey, even if Casey Jr. fails, I have something unique, and cool.) And I'm trying to build out of my comfort zone.

When I was a child and it was my brothers birthday, my mum would buy me a small gift so I wouldn't feel left out. Its Little Miss Speedys 9th birthday today and she bought me the Hidden Side boat set so I wouldn't feel left out, she was almost more excited to hand me my present as she was to open hers!
    Cool! Happy Birthday to her!

Got home and someone (to remain un-named) thought they would help by tidying up some of my Lego shelves for me...not sure but it seems to me that one of these might not fit in with the rest...

It did give me some interesting crossover ideas like “Hoth Raptor Patrol”... maybe a new Disney spin-off?

    I'd watch that.

This is one for the Poms, and Australians.
Just been watching episodes of The Bill. I went a little nuts back in the day and bought every season from 84-2001. When it was good. I don't regret it as I still watch them on a regular basis.
Now I'm wondering how much would it cost me to build a MOC of Sun Hill in the 90's. Can anyone recommend any custom mini fig makers?
This is my first serious attempt at something like this and have no idea how big this thing is going to be.

I have the opportunity to buy the 2018 Manager’s summit camper minifigure. Any suggestions on a reasonable price for a brands new one?

@snowhitie Nice pic— my boys and I saw one of those at the Lego Store in Chicago (Water Tower Place I believe) a few years back and we were all quite impressed.  One of them even tried counting the minifigs but was soon drawn away by the giant PAB wall!

@snowhitie I recall seeing something similar at the NYC Lego store at Rockefeller Center a few years ago. Looks pretty cool up close!

Shambles at the moment. Broke down the city to get ready for new tables, decided to paint the room while it was down, then one of the wooden boards fell and knocked over a set of draws holding vehicles. Not a pretty end result. Lots of sorting and rebuilding  to be done.

Then move everything to the other side of the room to finish off the painting.

Well, I am disappointed. Canada TRU Bricktober Week One is just percent off sales, no free gifts with purchase, not even Polybags. Kind of bummed out.

I was in there earlier today, had a good look at the new ISD in the window and a chance to see the new WV set up close. PAB wall was disappointing but picked up a few BHz and the last s19 minifig I needed!

A couple more pics of displays going up at my office— of course I had to include both a lighthouse and a helicopter!

    REally love your displays!

Saw the new ISD and had a nose around. Did my best to not spend anything as we're off to the Lego show at Steam in Swindon at the weekend, the Overwatch Wrecking Ball was very tempting, looks so cool

Fairly disappointed that the Watford store didn’t have any red masonry bricks or big leaf pieces when I visited at the weekend :(

Finally finished off Series 19 when I found Fox Girl last night. Anyone else breathe a sigh of relief when they get them all? And now I wait for February when I do it all over again.

^That's awesome @Speedman29! I moved the normal PF stuff all to the tender car last year to avoid any wires showing. However, it left me with a larger tender than I had anticipated. I might need to invest in the PoweredUp gear to take it to the next level.

Cheers. I was lucky that I won the latest cargo train with PU gear for pretty much the same price as the railway parts on there own. The cargo train now has the WV old running gear inside as there is loads of space to hide it all. This is a little bulky, but completely hidden.
I just set up an oval of track and ran it. Might need a bit of weight in the engine now as it picks up the inner large rear wheel on tight turns at speed! That is with no carriages so hopefully it'll calm down a bit. But the terrible wheel slip has gone meaning it can pull the standard wagons and the hot chocolate one I built last year.

Hmm tough decisions to be made here. It’s currently Triple Force Friday, and my new Local LEGO store is having it’s grand opening tomorrow. I just called the store and they said they’ll most likely be out of the Endor promo set by tomorrow. I was hoping to stack the grand opening and the SW Endor promo at the same time. I guess I’ll find out tomorrow if can have both!

If you have an Apple device and want to resize photos easily before posting, here is a shortcut I put together to do just that.

It will take one or more images and resize them to a maximum size, convert them to JPG and save them to your photo album. You can access it from the share sheet or from Apple’s Shortcuts app.

Great to see all the HS sets laid out. We've just built one tile of the Fairy Bricks mosaic, which is the HS logo this year.
