Feeling a bit worried about the deal I did on a #10197, via this forum and the guy’s BL-shop (located in France). He last send me an update on the 6th, asking if the shipping address was correct, which i acknowledged. No word since then. Also, i did get rated as a buyer on BL, and the status of my order is stuck on ‘Packed’.

Hope i’m not being scammed. Anyone else on here did buy the Pet Shop he offered? This was his offer: https://forum.brickset.com/discussion/29859/fs-fire-brigade-and-pet-shop#latest

Otherwise, as it was a deal via BL, i have his name and address, so would be weird to use that as an means of scamming?

glad i used Paypal/MasterCard, as i provides some protection might it turn out to be neccessary.

    Uhhh... Batman. Duh...
    Gravelly voice: "Iron Man sucks!"
It all comes down to Batman being the better superhero but all the cool toys he has cannot compete with the Iron-Man armour! Had high hopes when I saw the trailer for BvS and the Bat-armour suit but the reality was a letdown. Of course when the bat-mobile is brought into the equation it becomes "...Tony who?"

Status is annoyed and frustrated - there's a #10232 Palace Cinema for sale on Facebook marketplace, still sealed, £120, but i don't have the money for it just now.

Impatiently waiting for the shop to get finished with my truck so I can go pick up my TLM2 Brickheadz at Target. It was so cold here that the tires started leaking air, shop says they have to re-mount the tires to fix the seal.

When a bricklink seller claims to list defects on used parts and has a general 'may be some nicks' clause sends a part that looks like it's been given to a rabid toddler.

^ A Lego Certified Store, so no VIP points & no guarantees that they'll have the same stock as [email protected] or get the GWP promos... Upside, Alceon apparently wants to set up LCS's in all major cities across Australia & NZ, downside, they won't be actual Lego Stores...

Once again, I'm out of a semi self-imposed 'dark season' (dark times is too long haha)...

What better way to come back from the dark season than with the arrival of the LM2 Minifigures box from Minifigures Plus...and some polybags, which I enjoyed building but didn't make it a must-have.

My Sainsburys had a fresh box of TLM2 collectable minifigures out this morning so was able to pick up the last one I needed, Watermelon Guy, to complete my set. Also picked out a spare Giraffe Suit minifigure for a future MOC...

Not a lot of building going on in the last few days, but last weekend I did finally move my city tables a bit to fit 2 more in. Plenty of room for a good few modulars that have stayed unbuilt for now!

And more importantly, going to the avant-première of TLM2 later today! \o/

Checking out pictures of new sets from the New York toy fair on Zusammengebaut.com
Plus he has a nice review (in german) of the Flintstones Ideas set with some great pictures.
As well, over on eurobricks some nice box shots of the Ford Mustang, looks pretty sweet.

Unexpectedly received two identical boxes from [email protected] yesterday & wondered if they had split my order for some reason (though it only had one tracking number). When I finally got around to opening them in the evening I found my order complete in the first box - yes, sewer babies!

In the second box was my Lego FORMA kit, complete with a regular packing slip. So, for anyone in the U.S.who's waiting for something from Indiegogo, be on the lookout for a package sent from Romeoville, IL.

Also received my set of TLM2 CMF's from @MinifiguresPlus so it was a Lego-rich day all around.

Wondering why I decided that I wanted to organise my lego collection by parts, and lazily never oragnised any of the sets that I took apart and added to my sorting pile. Instead of organising them by sets if I wanted something I could just grab the set and rebuild it. Rather the root through a load of parts.

I found three boxes of polys that aren't in my inventory... er... collection database.  And I managed to lose and find... and subsequently misplace a bag of CMFs three times in two days.

But, all but one of my trade packages are out, so I'm still ahead!

Received the Forma set and built it Saturday. Nice display piece, hope that Lego will decide to make a production run and some more skins for it. I'd like to try to make a school of fish running from a single motor...

Booked a holiday so no more purchases, even though the lego I've bought is deals i see as presents for others, the stuff I buy myself is funded by floor change (money i find on the ground) which really was the 10Euro sets

I read that yesterday on his Instagram, be interested to see what he brings to the company. Fingers crossed for a new theme of bricksketches in Creator

Never imagined how much I would enjoy the new ninjago spinners. Never had the previous ones but now I am collecting all of this years. They work just like old fashioned tops but with attachable add ons that look really cool. The translucent colors and the add ons look really cool when you spin them. Most fun I've had with my Lego in a little while :)

I saw a load of Series 16 and 17 minifigs (£1.50 ea) at a WHSmith Branch in early Jan. Was tempted but didn't bother.

Went past today and they were still there. So I bought all they had left of these two series'. (26 in total)

Agreed, they're great! I had a lot of fun with the older types but I think these are definitely the best yet!
    • They're the first spinner sets to have the kind of tornado-like appearance that Spinjitzu's always been described or depicted with in the story.
    • They each use just one specialized spinner element, rather than five even more specialized spinner/launcher elements or a pre-assembled element with a weight ring and ejecting minifig housing.
    • Because of the above, the amount and variety of buildable contents and accessories included at a $10/$20 price is much more generous than previous types of spinner sets.
    • The design of the attack/defense/speed mode attachments really encourages customization and experimentation, since it's very easy to come up with new ones that look just as cool and powerful.
    • Even the tornado piece seems really versatile — besides being usable as literal whirlwinds (whether natural or magical), many of the colors could also make great thrusters/exhaust on a sci-fi vehicle.
    • The buildable gadget that appears in sets like #30534, #70667, #70670, and #70680 offers a much more controlled way to play with the spinners in a role play/storytelling scenario than any previous spinner sets offered — again, without requiring expensive or highly specialized new parts.
    • And of course, this is the first time a single wave has included spinners for all of the theme's 8 most prominent Spinjitzu users: the six ninja, Wu, and Garmadon.
So far @Lyichir and I only have the Lloyd vs. Garmadon Battle Set and Nya and Wu Training Set, but we hope to pick up the rest of the current wave when we either see a good sale or can add them on to other, bigger purchases.
Rumor has it that the next wave of sets will have more spinner sets with some kind of launcher mechanism. Excited to learn more about that!

I bought the Pet Shop, it was suppose to ship Monday but hasn’t as far as I’m aware. The guy isn’t great at messaging and doesn’t really say much apart from excuses. I believe we have both been scammed so avoid this seller at all cost. Will most likely be filing a charge back with my credit card.

I really hope you guys get the sets or your money back. I feel that something should be done to protect people on here - the person joined the forum at the beginning of Feb likely with the intention to sell/scam someone straight away. May be the admins can prevent people from selling within the first X number of months after joining? Certainly, I`m always cautious when seeing new members selling stuff on the forum, especially retired and expensive sets.

Have you contacted Huw about this as well?

    Good luck with it all.
