Got the catalog a couple days ago. not a car or James Bond guy so don't want the Aston Martin model on the cover. only new set I'm interested in is #60202. would go great with friends adventure camp and CMF S16 Hiker. the people packs are at least 20% off and often more with a wait and I may as well be patient given my backlog.
Magic the Gathering has my attention and spending right now.

Added a few more sets to the Voltron and Harry Potter Minifigure purchases as most of them are on 30% or more discounts so couldn't resist.

Have you built/are you going to build 60200? I just did, and think the hotel is brilliant! Going to expand it to Modular-size (it’s 16studs wide already, unsure if i’m just going to make it 32deep only, or Also going to go 32 wide.

The packers and movers just came and left. My wife and I are moving from London to San Francisco. One 20ft container of various bits of clothing, furniture, kitchen stuff, nik naks, and about 15 plastic boxes full of Lego and computer games.

6-8 weeks at sea apparently. I miss it all already!
Best of luck with your move!

I was building the VW bus I got for my birthday yesterday, and I was reminded of the smell of new LEGO. I really love it, but I don’t know if that’s because I associate it with a new Lego set or because it actually smells good. Any thoughts?

I've built the previous City Square, but due to lack of space is now kept in a storage box so this new one will not be opened so soon. Easiest way to expand the buildings is to get 2 sets and combine them, then add more bricks to fill up the gaps.

    Berlin Wall.
East Side Gallery - artwork painted in 1990 on what remains of the east side wall in former East Berlin.

And below artwork on the other side of the wall, in the former "Todesstreifen" ("death strip").

I know about getting the two sets, but i think just Bricklinking or BnPing them will be as easy and probably cheaper too

Took a 6000 mile trip to San Jose lego Store to get #75932 **. Guess which set they were out of stock of..... gah! They also had a huge display case for HP sets that was completely empty. Maybe it was full of thestrals.

I did manage to find some nice polybags at a couple of targets. So not a complete loss. Got #30380 #30497 #30427 #30407. So very happy.

Now off to collect Argos 3 for 2 orders and find somewhere to squirrel them away.

** was on business trip and went to the store, in case anyone thinks I am completely insane ;)

San Jose California? Valleyfair mall? If it's the store I'm thinking of, yeah, Sunday isn't the best day to go there. Monday or Tuesday is when they usually get stuff in.

I'm guessing since it's the last week of vacation for some, parents might've been taking their kids shopping more frequently. There's a Barnes & Noble nearby and they usually have good stuff, but it could've been the same scenario. Glad you didn't leave empty handed though.

Spent the day doing a 20km walk around a swelteringly hot Berlin with Little Miss Legopants. First stop was the Siegessäule (Victory Column).

Sorted through some more bulk from a purchase I made several months ago last night (that I somehow had forgotten about). Found nearly all of #21115 Minecraft - First Night. Only missing the Creeper and Pig.

My son has really been wanting a Minecraft set the last few weeks. I'm excited to grab the figs off BL and then surprise him!

I think I found most, if not all of, three of the Minecraft Micro sets too.

According to Brickset, I have just cleared over 1000 minifigs. How did that happen? I haven't even entered any of my CMFs!

Yes, at least it wasn't won by some ignorant kid and smashed to pieces to get to the figure within, then chewed until it's unrecognisable. Instead, Artooie's gone to join Threepio in mint condition!
