Spent about 3 hours searching for pieces from the local used brick shop and still didn’t find everything I need. I guess I will have to try brick link next but I am a little intimidated.

@LittleLori - don't be intimidated! It's a good site. I felt similarly to you a few years ago, but after a couple of purchases it's actually pretty easy and since the revamp looks a lot better too. It'll never be as simple as Amazon, because of the nature of the site, but it's trustworthy and the sellers are genuine for the vast majority. Just check the feedback ratings:

I always have to be careful about adding extraneous stuff to my orders to 'make it worth' the shipping.

I've got a healthy pile of those purchases!
I'm doing that all the time!

I also really messed up with a couple of recent orders, as I was gathering the parts for a couple of LoTR MOCs, The Balrog Battle and The Prancing Pony, from Build Better Bricks and I thought I'd also grab the parts to build the #COMCON033-1 Micro Scale Bag End at the same time. Somehow, I've ended up with enough parts to nearly build two micro Bag Ends!

Celebrated a 1st birthday today and our family is back in the Duplo zone. The wrapping paper was a bigger hit but I'm sure she will come to like building soon enough.

^ That's brilliant @stlux! I want one! (In fact, I've always wanted a moving jousting set.) Sooooo cool! Kudos for planning a set that moves and getting it to work.

Lovely build @stlux! ^_^ This brings back a lot of memories for me because three years ago I entered that competition on the Inside Tour and won with this MOC:

    The Great Mask Tournament

It's great that you thought about play features with your set idea! The judges really like when you do that. It's also really great that you thought to use mini-dolls. Say, a ren faire would be a fun subject for an actual LEGO Friends subtheme in the future!

Rebuilt all my older sets (early 2000s) and looking to sell.

Built the Saturn V.  Magnificent!  Built the US Capital.  Fun!  Oh, and built a Stormtrooper too. Nicely posable.

Next up:  Skylines and a Snow Speeder.  Love Legos

Scrolled through the new sets on the LEGO website.  Very happy to see the new passenger train has only one front end so expanding it should be simple!

Our local Hermes driver phoned today to ask me where I wanted a package left as nobody was in and our neighbours were out. At the end of the call she said "Is it more LEGO?"!

    1) I really haven't bought that much LEGO!
    2) It wasn't :(
Since you mentioned Hermes, I read a bunch of Afols buy their significant others bags and stuff as distraction. That's about, what, twelve ucs Millennium Falcons at the cheapest? That should keep her pacified for a long time lol

Congrats on winning @Aanchir! My build didn't manage that, but at least scored a top3 nomination :)

A renaissance fair Friends theme could be awesome. Friends/Elves crossover?

^that is a steep difference, not a bad idea though. Glad you had a good time!

Managed to get some stuff broken down and tidied up today. #75040 GEneral Greivou's wheel bike was the first set my son gave up for putting away. I explained we needed something a bit bigger :) #41109 Heatlake City Airport was next. I'm even allowed to maybe sell or spilt that one up :) Afterwards it just got too hot to move too much though, so not much else was attempted. But I did manage to build Doc Brown to accompany Marty I build yesterday. Really really really like these.

Grrr! The LEGO ReBrick website won't let me submit an entry to one of their competitions... I have tried several times, reformatted my photos, reduced their physical dimensions, compressed them, saved them for web. Nada, niente, nothing, except the spinning fan of doom!

In the words of Doc Brown ^ "This damn thing doesn't work at all!".

Went to TrU for a Make & Take session. My 6 and 3 year old daughters had the pleasure of assembling their own 44-piece Millennium Falcon (#TRUFALCON-1).

Saw the release notes for the GB and latest SW Brickheadz.  I'm happy sales appear to support this endeavour, but I'll be happy when they're done.

    So many Brickheadz.  So many...

It was a nicer build than expected.  A bit too many stickers for my taste but other than that i liked it a lot.

    1. Last week's garage sale haul to be sorted.

    2. A couple more (Crawler Crane & The Mine) to add to complete Gelksburg (my Lego City).

    3. Buy some H2O2 to soak the whites.
