Hunting for all the prices to the various LEGO Movie sets we have to put them back together. So far have all the mini figures and Emmet’s car rebuilt but still need to find the prices for the other days we owned(5 others)

A lot of my cars, MOCs, official, or something inspired from another MOC, are either supercars or classics. In addition, I also like to pretend these are all in some imaginary LEGO city. Thus, I realized  something. What did I realize? Let me list five MOCs to show you...

MOCS:
Mclaren F1 LM: Real car sold at auction for $13,750,000 in 2015.
McLaren F1: Real car valued at $12 million 
Pagani Zonda Revolución: Real car had an MSRP of $2.9 million.
1963 Corvette Grand Sport Roadster: Real car valued at $6 million to $8 million 
Ferrari F40 LM: Real car sold for $3,300,000 at auction in 2015. Lloyd drives my LEGO one. Cole drives my F50 GT MOC, and there’s only three real F50 GTs that currently exist.

And let’s not forget LEGO’s official GT40 and 250 GTO. The real cars are valued at about $3 million to 11 million(GT40) and $38 million up to $52 million(250 GTO). The real 917K is also worth millions. Dubai? Abu Dhabi? Pffft, plebians. This imaginary LEGO city is where it’s at. That’s what I realized.

Bit miffed. 2 boxes of CMFs put out at a local toy store. By the time I got there, there were 118 bags in total, yes, you guessed it.

It really irks they pulled this move again. The policeman isn’t as rare as Mr Gold, but still. 

My dark ages ended at the end of 2013, so while I wasn’t present during the height of the Mr Gold fiasco, I did do some digging later on.

LEGO status today is: LEGO House-arama

Just got a package from @Fireheart containing a bunch of LEGO House exclusives.  The shipping company sent it on a little adventure to China first, but it made it to the house safe and sound in the end!

Finally got some TLBM Series two figs (Vacation Dick Grayson, Black Vulcan and Dr Phosphorus) and immediately took a few photos. Dr Phosphorus is waayy more awesome than he looked at first glance. I think I've reached the level of Master Bag Feeler--it took me about five minutes to find all three figs I wanted. :D

@Fizyx, lucky you. I would live to get my hands on pretty much all those too. I haven't looked but I'm sure the aftermarket isn't to kind on there prices.

Status: ambivalent. Told myself last year that I wasn't going to collect the Jungle subtheme. Too many other sets to buy, something had to give, so no Jungle.

Saw 25% off all LEGO in a local department store yesterday. Bought 3 sets. Sale ends today so I'm heading in to one of the larger stores in the CBD to hunt for the remaining 4 sets. Already scouted eBay for related polybags and Bricktober minifigures. It's only a matter of time.

Really like the theme, happy to have them. But so disappointed in my lack of self control...

I tried to buy a box of the 2x2s and ship it back to my house.  The assistant manager chuckled.  And then said 'no' when she realized I was being serious.

They won't sell you a box of tiles for $100 but sometimes they'll let you transfer the contents of an entire box to six large cups (with room to spare) and sell them to you for $96.

The figs just started rolling into the Dutch toys stores, and the first box I got my hands on was already raffled trough. One fig was rather inconspicuously hidden behind the flap in the left rear corner... took it out, checked it on feel... and felt the policeman's hat :)

also found the other ones I wanted, aside from the Racer and the Flowergirl, those I got from a friend who bought a bunch of figs from the lego store online. This is my haul for this year, I might add the horse-fig, but that'll be it.

I've received #42062 Container Yard today, thought it might be a good set for my son as a starter for technic. He's broken his ankle and has build a crazy amount these last couple of days so I'm sure it will come in handy when he runs out of things to build.

I've build the tram of city square (the main reason I bought the set).


Fancy doing some MOC'ing (need to get the LEster travel monthly building contest done) but just haven't been able to get the pieces organised, hopefully tomorrow or in the week-end.

I have been taking pictures and listing some more double figures we own in the hope of gettin my Lego budget to stretch for the Coaster (I'm loving it) and the coming Harry Potter sets!

I follow an instagram user called legoman_scotland, he collects rare LEGO as well as new sets. He clearly has a few quid and runs some fun giveaways. Anyway, he bought a box of CMF18s the other day, took out the full set of 17 he needed and then posted up asking for a DM from anyone that needed minifigures still, he would give them away and post them worldwide for free on a first come basis. We've got five more to go for a full set so I sent a message with the ones we needed and we won! We're getting the Spider suit boy sent to us this week. Little Miss Speedman is very excited!

If it's who i think it is..then yes he is..his father much more so and a bit of a philanthropist around this area..

Speaking of B&P, I used it for the first time because I wanted at least one set of the new style of SC fenders. White and blue were sold out but red was there.

I want to use the red ones for a Ferrari 250 series car. I’m thinking 250 GT California or 250 GT Lusso.

Double chuffed today, Sainsburys had discounts on loads of different sets, got #75193 to complete my Microfighters collection, 28 in total. Then noticed the CMFs in security boxes on the shelf. We only need a few more to complete the series, got the staff to open the cases but nothing we needed. I asked them if they had the rest of the box out the back. Didn't get the ones we needed as the second bag I squeezed was the policeman, so we nabbed him and left. Marketplace thread coming soon for anyone missing him!
