^ Nice! And appropriate colour for the bus on the day the return of Harry Potter is announced :-)

That's really cool! I didn't even know they still made double-decker buses!

^ Do all the parts have Lego logos in the appropriate places?!? Clearly, by the colour tone, it's not a new minifigure, so how is joint movement? Are the legs & head fused to the torso piece?

Yes, LEGO logo is in the correct locations. Comes from an incredibly reliable source.

It is a new minifigure and gorgeous in person. It's near impossible to capture trans-clear with the type of camera I have. I realize it has a bit of a "old" color tone to it in the photo above.

Joint movement is extremely tight, I'm not even trying with an item like this...

Arms are fused to the hands. Otherwise, due to the way it was stored, nothing else is fused. However, putting these parts together for the photo and then taking them apart was incredibly difficult.

^ Yikes, so the colour tone is from the lighting, but the joints & connections are already pretty stiff? I can see why TLG avoids using fully translucent minifigs in general, but it would be nice if they were able to find an alternate solution that is as good as ABS.

Awesome stuff, looks like we know who will have the coolest monochrome collection now (which you now have to do, cause how could you not, you have the rarest one).

I'm very poor at photography and only have an iPhone. Again, it's beautiful in person. By far one of my favorite minifigures.

I know... prepare for another "wanted monochrome thread" ;)

@bookmum and @LostInTranslation the routes are all different colours. Purple, yellow, pink, blue.... Our bus route is claret so I need to find some dark red pieces!

@560Heliport there's a thriving double decker building industry in the UK.

Really hoping one of the new Speed Champions sets mysteriously labelled as 'Ford' turns out to be a hot hatch or rally car - Focus RS, Cortina, Sierra Cosworth, Escort XR3i, anything.

Paaaartly because I drive a Focus MK1 and I want Lego to do the legwork of designing a minifig scale one so I can adapt it into my car (gutless 1.4 not RS, but still). But also because I may not have fully grown out of the 90s kid that I am and I still think the last-model Escort Cosworth's whaletail spoiler is awesome and hot hatches in general are cool. There, I said it.
I'm a bit late in following up to this comment I made a while ago. I wasn't actually far off - there is a Fiesta rally car. Shame it isn't immediately recognisable, as I would have been very interested otherwise (though maybe it is more so without the light pod on the bonnet?).

The classic Mustang is really nice though. It's grown on me since I first saw the pics, when I actually didn't like it at all. Might get that, especially for the Ford-branded minifig - and that's saying something as despite being a Brickset member for years now, I rarely actually buy anything that's not a polybag or exclusive/display type piece.

Also, awesome to see Reading buses getting some love. We have a lot of really colourful buses. There's the pink ones, the claret ones, the green ones, and then there's the lion, the cheetah (and possibly a zebra?). Reading gets a lot of hate for being ugly, which is not entirely undeserved (though there are some nice bits) but the bus lines are a really nice splash of colour around the place.

I feel the urge to visit Reading to look at the buses so it is now official that I have Turned Into My Dad!! (he is a bus spotter)

Starting to get really interested in the Brick Me Brickheadz. 708 parts for $30 is a good deal and there look to be a lot of nice colors.

    I can't wait for that set. That's a really good price-to-part ratio.

I’m watching a good friend stream his build of the UCS Millennium Falcon for charity on Twitch for 24 hours. If you’re bored you can find him by searching SettoBuild on twitch.

If you’d like to donate, you can do it here.

    Thanks for looking.

Not too happy about the fact that brickseek told me my walmart had 2 of 75189 for $35 each and it turned out to be false, might order something from amazon as a consolation.

Making some BrickLink orders, some of it for my MOC supplies, some of it for in progress MOC projects & a couple parts so I can make a Namor the Submariner minifigure, which is now possible thanks to the recolour of the CMF Werewolf hairpiece for Zan & Jayna from the Lego Batman Movie Series 2 CMFs.

Hoping a couple of BrickLink orders arrive soon so I can complete my Millennium Falcon Special Edition Microfighter, but then I'll be left with the question of what to do with the #75030 & #75193 I have on display with my other Microfighters.

Adding a second rack to my "LEGO closet" to store backlog sets... which means other things will have to go to the garage (I am looking at you boxes of Disney Infinity figures, PEZ, and other collectibles; oh, and the 20+ monopoly collection).

Been sorting extra pieces, nuts how many you get together (building with two) after not that long, bit scary really...

Also been sorting photographing some double minifigs to list on the local gumtree. And after building the yellow castel from #40290, I fancied building the whole box. I found the castle and the ship the most interesting to build.

My son was building #75149 Resistance X-wing Fighter in the mean time. A very enjoyable evening...

Status today:  Hot Dog stands.  No idea why, but these are just making me happy.  Probably good the local Target didn't have more/didn't have them cheaper, or else I would have gotten more.  There is just something about the idea of having a city setup overflowing with hotdog stands that is cracking me up.

I wish we had more City polybags like this. Cheap, simple, but extremely versatile.

I just completed building the Lego U.S. Capitol Building and added a Herbert Hoover bobblehead to my presidential bobblehead collection.

I'm still organizing my Lego collection and I plan on making a Lego City and moving this display and the Saturn Rocket to different tables. I also need to clean up the basement. :-)

Really need to add James K. Polk to that lineup.  Hoover? How is Hoover so high on that list?
