I *may* have bought this for the 70s Giant Man minifigure. I hope this game is bug-free.
I *most definitely 100%* bought it for Giant Man.

But the games are usually fun too. So added bonus.

^ I forgot to add I should *probably* buy an X-Box One now. Maybe.

^ HAHA! I, at least, have one of those lying around.

As for the game being “bug-free,” you’re probably out of luck...there are two spiders right there on the front! (Sorry...I’ll let myself out.)

Ordered Ninjago City and I now have 14 sets ready to build and over 27 thousand pieces to put together when it gets here.

@omnium and @piratemania7 if you come over to Belgium next weekend your are more than welcome ;) as long as you help out with the kids too.

    Thanks for the tips @Speedman29

So, attempted to make my own gummy candy. Got to say it's De-li-cious! Only problem is, they loose their bobbins so not too brick-like. Have tried to soak them in hot water a bit but it's not really helped (even went to the point where they melted again). Some recipes call for putting vegetable oil spray in the mold but I'm worried they'll be sticky then (they are not now). Tips?

Thanks @snowhitie, that's very kind of you. But never fear, I'm booked next weekend so I won't turn up and surprise you ;)
But looking after kids is one of my specialities. I'm not known as "Mad Uncle Ryan" for nothing :)
And we'll not mention the time I turned up to a party dressed as Pepa Pig... and made a 6 year old cry. I mean, who knew Pepa Pig was 2m tall?? (the costume adds a bit of height)

^I was going to do the same, but unfortunately no fig included with the Switch version for some reason - only Xbone and PS4 :-(
Some staff at various EB Games stores used to claim that over here for the Lego games released on the Wii & WiiU. According to the current manager of my local EB, someone was probably pocketing the pre-order bonuses for those versions they claimed don't come with the pre-order bonus & selling them on eBay (a common problem back then). She has assured me that being one of the first to pre-order, my Switch copy of the game will be there on release day, with a Giant Man bonus figure.

Jebus @sumolego. I thought my Christmas hoard of 14 sets and more than likely rising was massive. But you, jeez. How did you get them from the store to the car by the way?

If this were facebook for Lego, what would your status be today?
Never used Facebook, so not sure what the choices are for "status".  But if I had to pick one, it would be, "Spent way too damned much on Legos this month."

Mine would be: saving up for a UCS star wars set, while simultaneously saving up for the ultimate battle for asgard, while buying christmas presents, and awaiting a lego.com order

It's @snowhitie's posts/likes ratio you should be shooting for ;)

In addition to @MaffyD and @SumoLego's advice, you could be a draw host for one of the weekly Brickset Bonus Balls? Sure to give you some extra likes ;)

We are always looking for draw hosts to add to the list, so if anybody would like to volunteer please drop @snowhitie a PM.

Took delivery of my Amazon bargain #75188 bomber and two #75176 transport pods. While the outer box looks in pristine condition, unfortunately, it looks like the box of one of the pods was pushed through the box of the bomber, tearing a hole in the front :-(

So I've just been to the post office to return it for a replacement.

To my knowledge, that's the first time I've ever had a set mangled from Amazon.
  • sid3windrsid3windr Member Posts: 1,460
^Lucky you, I should be ecstatic whenever one is not mangled.

Stopped by the LEGO store yesterday to see what they had on the PaB wall. I didnt end up getting any pieces but I did manage to grab The Old Fishing Store :)  While I was checking out I asked the clerk about the falcon wait list and he said he thinks they are getting around 30 in on Wednesday. If this is true hopefully my name will be in the list for this round.

I built the Ninjago tumbler car #70588 and I was missing a piece. Entered the CS/missing bricks section, completed the form, selected the brick, and got an email that says
"We’re sorry, but we haven’t been able to process your order XXXXXXXX as it didn’t pass our validation checks. This could be for a number of reasons and it may simply be that the number of parts you requested exceeds our maximum order quantity."

How is one piece exceeding the maximum quantity. Tried multiple times, same result. Now I feel bummed that I can`t complete the set, or that I need to find that piece somewhere (unfortunately I don`t have it in my spares)

I must admit that my 'Likes' are built on a facade of memes and mostly childish (but clever) comments.

That must be where i'm going wrong..my new mantra is less childish, more cleverness!

    I'm screwed..

Phone them or get them on the live chat and I'm sure they'll sort it out. LEGO customer service is usually amazing.

I'd just call them.  The system probably has some formula to check, if you've requested a large piece like the cockpit canopy or something or have a lot of requests in the past it probably flagged it.  Talking to them will hopefully clear that up.

Really hoping one of the new Speed Champions sets mysteriously labelled as 'Ford' turns out to be a hot hatch or rally car - Focus RS, Cortina, Sierra Cosworth, Escort XR3i, anything.

Paaaartly because I drive a Focus MK1 and I want Lego to do the legwork of designing a minifig scale one so I can adapt it into my car (gutless 1.4 not RS, but still). But also because I may not have fully grown out of the 90s kid that I am and I still think the last-model Escort Cosworth's whaletail spoiler is awesome and hot hatches in general are cool. There, I said it.

Feeling a little bummed; finally got my PaB-order in yesterday (ordered the 11th of October), and as it turns out I didn't order the right parts - mixed up DBG and LBG... so now I got a buttload of LBG-plates I don't really need.

Oh well, guess that grants me another PaBorder after the holidays. ;)
