The rest of that post disappeared (or didn't) and it'll turn up like a bad penny. And since I tried to edit it twice it'll turn up twice making me look even more numptyish than normal.

Currently removing a ton of Mega Blocks from a recent used lot purchase. Still happy with what I paid for the lot but there is a lot more MB's than I expected.

    Next step, a thorough wash.

Is that washing the Lego or yourself in a "will all great Neptune's ocean wash these Mega Blocks clean from my hand"-type of way?

I bought a 4kg box of "99% Genuine Lego" in 2013 for £41.50 (inc. postage) when I was naive. When I complained to the seller that I'd only received 3.7kg of stuff and found at least 4% of that was megablocks, missing the point about being honest, he declared I'd already got a good deal on a per kg sale, even though I was down at least 1/2kg of Lego that I purchased.

He was keen to point out that he didn't charge me for petrol for his drive to the post office. Moron.

I still find the odd Megablocks part in my collection to this day. Yuck!

I never did leave him negative feedback and wish I had.

Just finished rebuilding all my Galaxy Squad sets I dismantled a couple of years ago. I'd forgotten what a fantastic theme it was; anyone else agree?

    Hurray! It's holiday time! :-)
Drove over to the UK yesterday. Currently in Northants visiting the folks.
Enjoyed a healthy cooked breakfast this morning at Ye Olde Harvester Inn - a quaint eatery nestled between KFC and Homebase on Northampton's beautiful Riverside industrial estate.

If you are still in the area in a couple of weeks a new Toys r us is opening in Banbury (only a small one in the shopping centre rather than out of town) but exciting stuff (for Banbury)! I will miss it as I will be back in London by then!!

Weirdly a little toy shop I was in the other day had three #70706 Crater Creepers still on the shelf, pretty odd for a four year old set!

Oooo, I like that, great idea!

(Adds the Shark Army General to the list of TLNM CMF's to get multiples of.)

I also have a 100% success rate thus far feeling the TLNM bags. It's not that hard for the ones I've unpacked so far ;)

Will start to break down all my UCS sets this weekend since the dust accumulation triggers my brother's allergies :(

At least that means I'll get to build them again at a future date.

Was thinking earlier about the whole Saturn V thing and the growing cost of living, and wondering if I should just focus on getting Ideas sets. There's a lot I want, it'd give me a nice variety of builds and themes, and they're nice standalone display models to rotate on the coffee table.

I'm feeling good about having stopped buying CMFs, and while I spent a lot of last year collecting Nexo Knights, I don't feel the need to go after Jestro's lair anymore, and I could happily walk away without getting the few sets in year two that I want.

City and Creator might always be a temptation, though...

I keep telling myself to concentrate on just creator and city sets. Plus Friends 'for my daughter' (I play with them more!) but I seem to have no self control. I bought a (as new) minecraft set from a car boot sale recently because I thought the cows were cute!! Lucky for me I have no credit card so I can't go completely insane when I see sets I would love to have!

^that buildable Clay face is perfect for a Golgothan Sh** Demon, albeit a gigantic one.

Got a complete set of Ninjago Minifigs and one extra in under an hour. G'dang it, I thought I'd get it in 30 mins. Fresh case at the local Barnes and Noble with 10% off - it's almost tax free! Feels like the last series just came out.

Currently waiting for a flight. Laughing at the 'vat free' prices of Lego in the hamleys toy store. Vat free and still way above rrp!

Then got excited at finding ninjago mini figs in WH Smith's until I saw they are only £3.99 each.  Oh well. Will have to wait a bit longer before I go hunting for them.

Currently thanking the great MOCer in the sky that I didn't buy Brick Live tickets; have spent the past week experiencing the double whammy of sinus infection and antibiotics. Immunosuppressed!me and huge venues packed with kids with huge personal collections of germs do not mix, I suspect. My dwindling bank account is also relieved, because it'd be hard not to succumb to parts-buying...

@SumoLego came over to drop off some figureless sets he sold me. He doesn't have the space. I don't either, but having a BrickLink store I have something to do with them, and since I'm local he doesn't have to ship. Last time we met up we had to make the deal and run but had some time to talk about LEGO addiction this time. He also understands rooms jam packed with LEGO and building projects that have been put off for ages. He's also heavyset so he understands my collection of food related LEGO. (I have several pizzerias and use several non-pizza items as concession stands in my expansion of #41105 Pop Star Show Stage)

@stlux for my minidoll MOC I ordered hundreds of 1x2x1 panels with center divider (part 93095) on BrickLink and save those when they're in sets I open.

@Legopants for certain definitions of 'healthy', maybe not good *for* you but looks good. :)

@Legopants, you can't beat the south coast for it's beaches with absolutely no sand. They just don't do pebbles right where I live now. :)

^I don't like sand. It's coarse; it's rough, and irritating, and it gets everywhere.

(I do have a delightful meme of this iconic and lovable quote, but that's a matter for another time)
