Just hit it with a hammer. :)
or maybe a sausage?
1: Suffering from Technic withdrawal - it's been almost a year since I last built anything Technic, and I am missing it :( - I'll hopefully get #42069 when it comes out
2: Struggling with a dilemma - after deciding to do a Brickheadz Daredevil (Netflix version) for the contest, I can't decide who to pair him with:
Daredevil and Punisher:
Daredevil and Elektra (Stud.io got an update and is playing even less ball with LDD files, and I can't be bothered actually building on it, so no renders for this one):
Help me!!!
Daredevil and Elektra:
or
Daredevil and Punisher:
Which should I go with?
Thanks for the help and advice anyway! :)
Before...
After...
To quote Dr. Dre... 'What you think I sold 'em all?'
did you not get the figure with the white jumper as well?? XD
Maybe I'll politely ask @Huw next time I meet him ;)
Meanwhile I'm still waiting for my Bricklink order at "Counterfeit checking" customs. However I'm currently queueing for eye surgery because I rolled my eyes out of their sockets at the "Slubbin TOWN" sets for sale at one of the local car part stores. :|
Finally finished #76023.
Thoroughly enjoyed building this set and was actually surprised at how big it was when it's finished (only just fits in the space I had available). It's beautifully designed and a great build experience.
I do have a premonition that in the near future, if I was to post my status everyday it would be something along the lines of.... dusted the Tumbler today, wings and flaps fell off.... again.
I may have to limit my dusting ritual with this as I feel that replacing them every time is going to get old very quickly.
P.S. anybody that worries that its to close to the edge, yes it is but I have put a wheel chock under the rear wheels to stop a headfirst plunge to the floor. :)
Thanks for the heads up about the tyres although it probably won't be on display for much more than a couple of months as that's only one of two areas I have to display built sets and the At-St I built a while back is on the other one so one of them will have to come down before I get too engrossed building something else.
Quick cat MOC I built while having coffee.
But on the plus size I found 2 smallish sets that were BNIB that I'll be building soon. Very soon. Hopefully. Sooner than the storage will be sorted, anyway.
....on the right is half full of random Bionicle stuff (destined for the marketplace as I have no idea or want for it really) and a small Technic set. On the left is ¾ full with all sorts. I've spotted minifigures from some Batman sets, Antman, Ironman, Guardians of the Galaxy, a sail from some ship and maybe even the BTTF Delorean. I shall be upending the lots later to investigate!
Quite chuffed.
That said, there's no reason at all that I shouldn't dig a set out of the cupboard upstairs to build.... :)
Been wanting to do this since I first saw the keychain. Think the stormtrooper helmet goes much better with the suit than the original cowl. :)
(My apologies for the picture size, taken on the mobile and came out bigger than expected)
The lot of vintage's bricks that I purchased for the pictured for the black 190SL (missing windshield, but steering wheel intact) arrived today, and a dark grey 220S emerge from the depths, both with garages:
Are they listed on Bricklink anywhere? Are they considered rare or worth more than a standard brick of that era and condition?
There were also a few purple bricks and frames kicking around which look to belong to #4866 Knight Bus. Found minifigures from that too.
1980s Pontiac Firebird. :)
Must stop ogling the new 2H releases, although I am loving that 6x6 truck.
well number 1 is!
it was my birthday this week so that been a help.
so number 2 is.
here is a image of my full lego haul for the last 7 days.
not the best image, but i had a hell of a time getting that all in one image.
it turns out that is is now more easy to just give me cash to buy sets with then asking for them. (i make better use of the cash any how.)
all that stuff RRP is £643.81 in all i payed £377.89 and i saved £265.92 off the RRP that is about 41.3% saving on the RRP.
i have also had to unbuild a number of Season 1 and 2 Nexo Knights set's so i can have room for the new stuff. and may have to unbuild more set's.
that is a nice haul if i do say so myself. only need 1 more set from Season 4 Nexo Knights (the big Knighton Castle). and i now have all of Season 3 Nexo Knights.
i also have all of the DC Super Hero Girls set's (but for that little polybag.)
it's been a good week and it look's like it going to be a good month of building. maybe longer or maybe i get it all built in 1 week "Mahahaha" who knows.
As an experiment, I'm trying to find out what impact various drinks have on my fondling-fu. For science!
Starting with still water:
BUT, for SCIENCE! So carry on ;)
Slow progress using still water. 16 bags done, moving to some slightly posh lemonade - San Pelegrino Limone e Menta.
