Status: sadly doing the daily click on my link to the Saturn V, which remains temporarily out of stock. At least it's temporary...

I've been having a dry spell on building as of late, so I've been focusing mainly on minifigures and the third party accessories available for them. Dry spell meaning that I literally do not have any idea on what I want to build, even though I have a private playlist on YouTube for that purpose.

Thus, aside from maybe switching around weapons for minifigures, I ordered a custom minifigure(along with a couple other things) from the same online retailer I got my third party SWAT gear from. Not sure if this counts, though, since it is a genuine Lego fig, but with a bunch of third party stuff on it, and possibly a custom print. Nevertheless, here is the figure I ordered:

    (Retailer's picture)

The retailer was Battle Brick Customs, and they call this CIA Ghost Paramilitary Commando. I thought it was really cool, hence why I ordered one. Again, don't know if this counts or is even allowed, but I have nothing else Lego related to post thanks to my dry spell :(

    Same here....

    Wakeup - check link
Get to work - check link
    Lunchtime - check link

....overkill perhaps, but as soon as I don't check I know it'll be back in and sell out again.

Watched Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) today and loved the movie!

For those of you who were curious on which Death Star set is featured in the film, it answers that. My prediction was correct and it made perfect sense why that particular one was used.

Just completed an excellent blind drop trade with @sumolego.

Left a bit confused that the set came in a boutique hotel bag with a realtor's business card in it. Is @SumoLego trying to send me subliminal messages?

Built #21309 NASA Apollo Saturn V over my long weekend and I am absolutely amazed by it. The set is truly incredibly.

I completely underestimated how tall 3 feet is though, and now I need to find a new display area as it won't fit where I originally intended.

I did have one mishap after it was complete though, which was when trying to separate stage 2 from stage 1, stage 3 decided to separate as well and went crashing to the floor. Luckily, due to the sturdiness of the model, it stayed together fairly well and there wasn't much I had to reconstruct.

Is it based on the Fabuland cottage set?

Looks a bit similar to one of the Friends grocery stores set.

Yes @LittleLori!! You are correct!! The only other people that got it were my childhood pal and her little sister (who also had Fabuland) and my mum!!

Can't believe this. Spot the two glaring issues in this Amazon listing:

And before anyone says anything, it has nothing to do with the search for Batman v Superman sets. Although why that search brings up two Marvel sets before another DC set I have no idea.

Nice job there, that is a beautiful sight. Love seeing all the Marvel ones together, I live in hope that one day I'll manage to acquire the three I'm missing.

The mixed feeling when you see kids playing with Lego and them enjoying it so much but realising that you will have to sort the men and buildings out later...

At least their army-building skills should help.

Hours later... she's still there. @bookmum we have five who rugularly join us in the LEGO/music/cat room.
@omnium that's entirely possible but more likely she's plonked herself in the most ridiculous place she can find.

@snowhitie I know just what you mean. I'll finish building something and my (almost) five-year-old will want to immediately take it apart. I don't mind him taking sets apart, rebuilding them, dumping the parts, building his own things, etc., but it's literally seconds after I've finished building them. He doesn't even "let the paint dry" for lack of a better term. I remember finishing Ewok Village, leaving the room, and coming back less than five minutes later to a half disassembled tree. "These brown pieces are going to be great for my Swamp Police headquarters." Sigh.

dad, that tree model wasn't very good, so I broke it so I can build a police station

^^ My (almost) two-year-old is a climber. I'd prefer broken Ewok Village to broken child.

^ And there's yet another reason why LEGO produces police station after police station after police station. Kids love 'em.

actually, if they made a police station, but in a super heroes line...
fleshies, no blue windows, slightly better furnished interior.
of course there is the modular way too, that would certainly look much less modern.
