Not really fair bit thought I would post my stats

Makes me @5.112 of I am not mistaken.

I am also a proud member of the 2011 club but then I have been around the internet since the dawn of time and still miss the days of dial-up internet and fall asleep not to the sound of waterfalls or african rainforest but to the tranquil sounds of the hayes modem connection sound.

another 2k11 club member here :)

    @masterX244 for the stickers!

And they are only for Lego (whatever @bendybadger might think). They even have a fancy pouch too so my stickers are squeaky-clean!

ahh... i only had to use them twice so far, once when some parts fell into a deep inaccessible spot and once on a technic gordian knot

Wishing I hadn't been encumbered by relatives yesterday so I could have investigated why this guy was out in Frinton rather than just grabbing the shot on the way back to the car...

I thought about taking that set with me, but I figured it would take up too much space. So it is still sitting in it's sealed box at home.

Clearly, no parking a Lego haystack trailer in front of a church.  Read the sign, people!

Lego Store in Disney Springs was a total bust.  No polys, no 2x2 tan tiles, blah!

Unless I decide to do some sort of MOC of Thanos's Bathed-Blood Star-Way, I have no use for 2x2 bright red tiles...

Good LEGO weekend, decided I wasn't gettting any Series 17 CMFs this time.....bought four in Smyths and ended up with six more in Newbury on a 6 for the price of five deal. Managed to get me a Highwayman!

Also nabbed a copy of #3837 Monster 4 game, useful parts supply normally. There are no nice baseplates this time, but loads of scary minifigure heads

Is anyone else having this problem? When I get on the forum, and I go to my "Participated Discussions" tab, it shows all the discussions but has stopped updating them with the _ New yellow thing. Instead I can see that there are new comments on threads in the main home page. Is it a glitch or just me? :(

@Speedman29 - where in Newbury was that offer on minifigures?

nevermind just seen on other thread t was Camp Hopson

  • Speedman29Speedman29 Member Posts: 2,338
@Shib yep, Camp Hopson. Apparently its only the second series of CMF they've sold after Batman that they've been able to offer the cards. Not seen it before, business card sized with space for five minifigure shaped stickers and contact details on the back, wasn't allowed to keep it as they have to send them on. Stand with four or five boxes was next to the till in the toy dept.

@Glacierfalls265, not alone, I've already reported it, but you might want to just mention it here (http://bricksetforum.com/discussion/26323/forum-not-recognising-threads-as-read), seems to be a bug exclusive to the Participated Discussions page. Tested it with Firefox, Opera & Vivaldi, all are affected, haven't checked IE or Chrome.

I have that to build too, but the pieces have been mixed, so I'm a little gunshy about getting started.

Working on a bunch of Nexo Knights reviews to post later in the month. Typing them up first on the computer and then going over them makes sure there's no issues or lost reviews like my Arkham Asylum one. I really need to get rid of that old review and put up the replacement I finished for it.

finally got around to shopping on BL for parts needed to finish my chess set - 8 blue slope inverted 45 2x2 double convex [3676]. that part is rare in blue - $2 or $3 and I'm lucky to see 4 at a time. in black it's less than 30c and available 8 at a time. I even have all the other black pieces in my personal stockpile, and 1 3676. organized those areas of my stockpile a bit. the sellers with 3676 also have several other parts I want; I suppose many Bricksetters are familiar with how that goes. Not done shopping but ready for bed.

@vizzitor so you planned a massive backlog? usually those happen by accident. :) I also end up opening and repackaging before I get to building. I am waiting for this weekend to work on a huge set.

I've avoided the LEGO ice cube tray or cake mold because I don't need more kitchen gadgets and I alreayd spend more than enoguh on actual LEGO.

Not LEGO as such, but during a wander round Newbury on BH Monday. We popped into the Wilkinsons on the high street. They had a few Blox's sets on the shelf and this....

Yeah, "planned". It was definitely all planned down to the smallest detail.

Or else just started taking apart some sets just after Christmas, began organising a small number of parts, which became most of my collection, which then turned into buying more drawers and boxes and reorganising absolutely everything but only at weekends. All the while, I was taking advantage of some really good offers in various shops and online.

Hope you enjoy your weekend of building. I've only built a handful of the sets in the picture so far but it really makes up for the months of self-imposed exile!

Um... they might be discarded TRU Make-and-Take Event sorting trays for pieces.

(Frankly, I think it makes it look cluttered.)

I like them. I have a couple cardboard displays but they are bigger like shelving.
