I liked Office's Picture Manager also, but it was last available with Office 2010. Office 2013 and Office 2016 do not come with Picture Manager... if you upgraded, it might still be in your setup.
I've been using Paint.NET (free) for all my basic image editing for years now; it's all that Paint should be :-)
I have way too much time on my hands
Once they're all cleaned I'll turn my attention to widening my modular table to fit the Assembly Square in when I get it later in the year.
so i place it here.
if the usa members dont yet know.
uk members who try to shop at shop@home now pay £5 more for set priced from £35 to £80 and £10 more for set's price from £90 and up. this change on the 3rd of jan 2017. as of today john lewis online prices are now showing the new RRP or the set's that had a jump in price.
JL did have brick bank at £110, it now £129.99 (and out of stock) i just happy that when i look 20 hours ago i found 1 in stock to buy. and i did get it for the lower price.
i hope that other shops do not follow JL lead on this subject.
Is it just me or does LEGO really need to sack it's proofreader? What makes it worse is that on the side, the correct English spelling appears... as one of the foreign translations! En-lightening it is not, it's more shocking to me. It's Artic Batman all over again!
Maybe it's like S@H: instead of having a professional team for these things, they just rotate interns with random backgrounds and hope for the best?
So I have been frantically cleaning up non-Lego boxes everywhere and already took 3 trips to the local recycling center. I found boxes in our basement of items we got rid of years ago. Clearly should have done this sooner :p So yay for buying too much Lego so I finally was forced to throw away old junk to make space for shiny ABS bricks? :)
The majority of me says save it. The voice in my head says buy a Tie Fighter.
and it's Friday to top it off :-)
They suggested that I choose some other items from their store, with a 50% discount. I commented that I had only been after a few specific pieces and that they only now had one remaining in stock.
I then got an email back, rather apologetic, that they'd checked their stock and where they should have had 1 of this item, they actually had 5, plus extra stock of the other items that I had ordered, so it transpired that they hadn't sent the order at all! Doh!
Anyway, I've been assured that it has now been posted and I'm hoping it turns up tomorrow, so that I can finish my Ferris Wheel red gondolas. :-)
Other than that, I'm planning to start building my first Architecture set tonight, #21034 London. Double :-)
This is a turn up for the books as one of my favourite shops just happens to be there as well.
But as soon as I've finish buying Krispy Kreme donuts, I may well pop into the Lego store to have a look at the price increases. :)
I guess that's the beast's name, but if it's a pun I don't get it. maybe that makes more sense if that's the gargoyle's name?
Still not built anything. Had to take down my Christmas sets (and didn't even post a photo on here of them - rats). But did manage to go shopping, so that's all good! I'll post my purchases in the relevant thread...
In the meantime, this weekend my lovely other half has guaranteed that we don't need to go out for anything. The forecast is rain. The gang are happy mooching about. I might get something built! Unless the garage needs sorting, but I'm not letting Cathy anywhere near there - I'm not mad!
yeah also think of LOTR for your LEGO castle needs.

today's my birthday, and yesterday was payday. finally bought myself an x wing ( #75149 from target.com ) but had some [okay a lot of] adult refreshments with [and after] birthday dinner so not in much shape to do LEGO stuff
Sets owned from the past 3 years:
2014 - 140
2015 - 136
2016 - 138
Only 118-122 more sets to buy in 2017 and I'm good!
Sigh.
The other adult in the house wasn't as impressed by the numbers.
USELESS!!!
Ah the curse of us AFOLs without enough space for permanent display - disassembly of sets, I hate it. Exactly the opposite feeling to the joy of building.
Here's mine. Pretty consistent also. Incredible.
