    ^ Very nice.

One day. I'm saving them for my boys. Still have every set in their boxes, along with the various polybags, and a few multiples. My sons' heads will explode the day we open them.
My kids don't know anything about LOTR/Hobbit, they only cared about Minecraft. And kept telling me the new Minecraft movie will be out in 2019...
Mine don't either. They're far too young. But my mom was a huge LotR/Hobbit fan and the biggest cheerleader for my Lego obsession when I was growing up. She passed away years before my first son was born. Had she still been with us, I'm sure she would've bought all the sets for my boys and put them away for them when they were older. Instead, I did it. The first LotR wave is actually what brought me out of my dark ages. We found out our first was going to be a boy and I bought the first wave almost immediately.

As for Minecraft, this is the extent of what my oldest knows about it: "why their heads not round like real Lego?" He swears they aren't "real" Lego.

Thats sounds awesome Yodaliciuos.  I only recently started buying Lego and have missed out on most themes that I would consider buying every set.  I have actually done this with Elves and really enjoyed it.  Although I have opened and built them I intend to pass them on to my granddaughter.  I wish there were another theme like that where I felt the need to own every set that was available retail.  I have enjoyed some of the Ninjago sets but not the point I would buy everyone.  Your sons will have a blast.

Won't be going near any Lego for a while - I've just come home after bowel surgery, and sitting at a table to sort and build would be agony. Not happy. :-(

Minecraft movie?  Somehow that doesn't seem exciting in the least.  I suppose to fans of the game it may be!
No idea what the movie will be like, but my kids play the game on the PS3, ipads, Samsung tablets and even on my phone!

Needless to say, I had to buy a few of the Minecraft sets for them.

@Reece what did you think of the sets.  I have actually been tempted not as a fan of Minecraft as mentioned just as something a little different. That new Fortress coming out looks kind of fun the way you can reconfigure all the modules.  I have yet to buy a set but some did look appealing just as a Lego set.

From what I can see with my kids playing them, the figures and animals looked interesting but the bricks are mostly common bricks.

I think even for licensed sets they're pretty expensive, though I'm happy as long as the kids enjoyed it :)

I just had the same thing, had 1 meter (3 feet) of small bowel removed. It's been a week after surgery and I can sit at a table with no issues. Don't be sad, you'll be fine shortly.

Well, who knew our bowels would be a common point of reference @madejp86! Glad you're feeling better. Mine includes some work at the "business end" so to speak, so we'll see I suppose...

To add a happy update to this thread for a change: will be in Saarbrücken this weekend, which will include a mandatory visit to the LEGO store! First visit to a LEGO store since I came out of my Dark Ages. Only been once in a LEGO store before. (Frankfurt)

Sounds painful. I dropped a 75 pound weight on my right index finger and crushed it and basically was held together by a few pieces of skin. The weight blew out the "guts" out each side of the finger. Fun times :)

Getting my Lone Ranger on.... I actually thought the movie was entertaining and after looking at some of the sets have decided to buy a few.
So today I picked up #79108 from a reseller for $100 AUD which is $30 above the original RRP but cheaper than what other resellers are asking.
Also ordered #79107 from ebay and now deciding on when to get the train.

Whoa whoa whoa! Let's keep the lack of hair comments to a minimum. Some of us get it enough from our kids!
What's wrong with the lack of hair anyway? Some bald men are very attractive.

According to IMDb, woman rate the Fast & Furious films more highly than men; it has nothing to do with cars.

Although to be fair, being rich and built like a brick S**thouse does help Vin Diesel's case.

Posssibly. But, with hair, he attracted a lot less "interest".

Have you seen photographs of him with his full afro? Can you imagine him with hair like his twin brother, Paul?

Detoured on the way back from a job today to Smyths and nabbed some Series 16. Did 30 seconds of bag squishing and found two banana guys straight away then grabbed seven randoms, got one duplicate. Got the hiker though, which is now my favourite minifigure

@Johnyk668 & @Recce I LOVE this theme! :D So far I've only got the Lone Ranger on rail cart polybag and the Silver Mine, plus the Stagecoach Escape which I just got last weekend! :) Really looking forward to finishing the series. Until then, for RIGHT now, this is my status:
