As for Minecraft, this is the extent of what my oldest knows about it: "why their heads not round like real Lego?" He swears they aren't "real" Lego.
Needless to say, I had to buy a few of the Minecraft sets for them.
I think even for licensed sets they're pretty expensive, though I'm happy as long as the kids enjoyed it :)
And in other news - finally having a go at my first build/MOC in my new LEGO room.
i lost a finger. when i try to move said finger it like some one is cutting off the finger.
so. building lego is out of the question. just to painful.
and i am board.
My LEGO status today is catching up on all the posts on Brickset after summer hols... :-(
To add a happy update to this thread for a change: will be in Saarbrücken this weekend, which will include a mandatory visit to the LEGO store! First visit to a LEGO store since I came out of my Dark Ages. Only been once in a LEGO store before. (Frankfurt)
but as i can not bend it. it's as good as if i had lost it. it still there but way to painful to use.
congratulations on the anniversary, nice to see you kept the ears tied back for the picture.
;)
(I was going to dig out a photo as well, but my lovely Bride would likely set fire to my UCS MF.)
Congrats on the Anniversary!
How many years now?
Meanwhile, there was a very offended cat in our house earlier:
In her defence, it IS her chair, but I needed somewhere to put the tray!
Yes, @Legoboy did that as a joke to get us back for doing the same thing to him with a previous picture ;)
So today I picked up #79108 from a reseller for $100 AUD which is $30 above the original RRP but cheaper than what other resellers are asking.
Also ordered #79107 from ebay and now deciding on when to get the train.
Everybody needs to check this out:

My four-year-old is obsessed with my lack of hair. It makes no sense to him. Especially since I'm so much older than him. In his mind, I should have hair down to the ground since I've been around 33 more years than him.
Have you seen photographs of him with his full afro? Can you imagine him with hair like his twin brother, Paul?
Congrats @Pitfall69 with the 14 years. I love your wifes dress, very fairy-take like, I think she deserves that fairy-tale castle! But maybe you can get the freebie? Or help with the stickers?
I got my first 6 series 16 CMF'S today and no doubles so pretty chuffed. Love the penguin and devil- boy. And the baby, got to love a baby.
better but not back to full use.
The moral of the story I guess is Lego can be therapeutic in more ways than one .
Good luck with your recovery. Hop this helps.
