@legomental, should be, we got in there pretty quickly, they're just keeping her there for observation, the doctor will be doing follow up in the morning & if need be, she'll be coming home minus an appendix.

@chrisalddin At the pace you are buying Lego you will need to find a dark age or more space!  Lego takes up lots of space especially if you insist on keeping all those boxes!

Watching my partner put together the Technic shuttle I got him for his birthday. Lots of swearing at the moment because the instructions insist on the addition of various delicately-attached bits long before you add anything to support them, and they tend to come to grief when he has to add an assemblage that connects with multiple pegs/along multiple axles. Not quite sure what they were thinking when they devised the instructions for this one!

Picked up a bunch of classic bricks at the thrift store and spent the past two evenings sorting. Amazed at how compact 2200 bricks can be when everything is sorted out and stacked up.

We went for a countryside walk today on a footpath through a golf course. My daughter found three lost balls including an 'Orb of Titleist' :-)

Daft thing also, is I appear to be valuing the players based on ebay listings.   Reus, Kroos, crap.  Boateng, has someone been holding you captive?  Neuer, you haven't done a bloody thing!  You're not worth £16!!

At home today looking after a poorly baby :(

On the up-side, I've decided he's ready for Duplo now (mainly because I want to play with it with him). And when he went for a really long nap I had the opportunity to do some LEGO photography :)

Loving the Mixels. Thanks to these guys, I got more eyes and teeth than that thing from Jeepers Creepers. I hope Poland bears down on Germany and pulls off the upset this Thursday.

Yeah, pieces take up a lot less space when stacked. I do that a lot with my personal stockpile, but haven't with my BrickLink inventory - takes away new status, and I generally don't have enough of the same used piece. It's very useful for packing PaB cups.

They do have a cool parts selection.

And the irony @Legoboy is that I received this today...

I guess irony can be pretty ironic sometimes :-o

Fortunately despite the envelope being slit open, the little guy inside was all present and corrrect. First time I've ever had one like this.

And to add further to the irony is that when I asked my wife (who kindly posted it for me yesterday) to let me have the Proof of Postage last night, she looked back at me with a vacant expression.

How grateful am I you have him?

I have the strange warm feeling that comes from buying Lego for other people. I ordered five Mixels at my local Argos, and they sent up the whole basket on the conveyor belt and let me pick the ones I wanted! A Beatles fan friend is getting Tapsy, the three Medivals will be Christmas stocking fillers for my partner, and the other will remain a mystery, as it's the prize in the July MOC building contest...

@Brumey, just go to BrickLink & search "gold tooth," those two are a couple of the results under parts.

I've just been told by other half that she wants to take the children to stay with her family in France for 3 weeks during the summer holidays, which means that the dining room is going to have a bit of a LEGO makeover! I must now start planning my LEGO Minecraft diorama... :-)
Also, I think that I'll set up a bit of a separate display of my modulars, #10247 Ferris Wheel, which I am determined to buy soon and a few other City-style sets...
If I'm going to be lonely at home, I'm going to enjoy myself as much as I can! :-)

Gawd, you're right! I'll have to set aside the last weekend for a major tear-down operation... It's going to be in excess of 10,000 pieces, so will take a while... :-(

Recently had an insight for finishing my chess set MOC. Wasn't sure how to do the king and queen, but came up with 2x2 slopes and 1x1 cones for the crown. (I use inverted slopes for the castle/rook tower, 2x3 with 2x2 curved top for the knight's horse, 2x2x2 cone for bishop's mitre - the pieces are otherwise 2x2 stacks)

Got a tooth pulled this morning - not feeling too bad, but may do more with LEGO as I take it easy the next few days

Almost totally packed for Brickworld in Chicago this weekend. Our member with the van took off this morning. Our LUG's display is easily 2x what it was last year. Look for me in the WisLUG area, if you're going!

Everyone is posting their $12 Sandcrawlers and $40 lots of UCS sets and Classic Castle they dug out of the trash and the only thing I found recently was that someone finally bought all the Construct-A-Zurgs at Carrefour.

^I know what you mean. The best I found was some s12 minifigs half price.  Skips around here are just filled full of garden rubbish.  Must be the lack of four leaf clovers round here and out rabbits have all their feet too.

Glad other people can pick up bargains and my chin almost hit the floor when I read about the $12 Sandcrawler. Be lucky out there.

Apparently because the group Austria should be in...the one with Germany, Poland and Ukraine is rounded out by Northern Ireland. Whaaaa!?

Dabbling with Bricklinking in the past couple months has now opened the flood gates for a couple more ambitious projects. Especially after being inspired by samiam's Mario project.

#75038 Jedi Interceptor (I know, this one surprised me too!)
    SDCC micro-Tatooine
    SDCC Action Comics #1
Team GB Display Case (Union Jack flag, copied from pricey73's wife)
DFB Team Display Case (Germany Flag)

Still pondering about possible display case approaches for Simpsons, TLM and Disney CMF series.

And possibly a start to another of pricey73's wife's creation of a Red/White/Blue version of #3450 Statue of Liberty.

Lucky feet work best when still on the rabbit- heck, you even get four of them in that case!
