I will have to force myself to breakdown many sets from last year to make space for new ones coming in soon. To motivate myself I won't allow any further building of new sets until the job is done.
Now to decide which sets are to be dusted and taken apart to be put away in their boxes.

Ok I might have bit of a Lego problem but I have calmed down over the last few years so that really doesn't matter :)
I think the problem must be that I spent all my money on the new TFA Constraction sets that were recently released, thus leaving nothing for a TFA movie ticket... but I don't regret it. Much.
:oP
"the not so secret, Steve & James buy each other some LEGO, secret Santa"
I now have 60092 Deep Sea Explorers Submarine sitting on the floor of the LEGO room waiting to be built. He has 60074 City Bulldozer on his kitchen table.
Any way I just saw SW-TFA. It is so nice to live around the corner of a movie theatre; no hustle and bustle. Walked up to the booth, bought a ticket, picked a good seat, and went to see it on this rainy Monday night.
I liked it a lot, it really is a blast!
Now, I want to go see it again.
there should be a moc of this scene
It is amazing what feet that franchise still has after all these years. It definitely is a marketers' dream! And it has kept TLG alive, fat and happy, which is good for most of us.
After receiving a box full of Target cubes for UK folk and a large pile of polys and MMB's for Fairy Bricks @oldtodd33 took it upon himself to browse my wants list and has sent me a number of sealed CMF's to help complete my collection including a Series 2 Spartan Warrior.
Such a truly generous act of kindness from a genuinely decent member of the community.
Thank you once again, @oldtodd33.

According to Brickpicker... I'm almost a millionaire.
Afterwards my brother and his family (non-AFOLS) headed over to Denmark for a week before returning to the USA, so I mentioned set 4000016 Billund Airport on the slight chance they could pick one up for me.
Six months later and completely forgotten about, received a package today (from Denmark no less) with this in it.
Don't know how or who he got to send it to me for Christmas, but I am so chuffed!!!
Love you Bro!!!
I'd like to be included in your family's gift exchange next year.
Sure, no problem, just give me a bag, five minutes in your LEGO room, and no questions asked when I exit and your in!
Did our family Xmas pic this morning. Hope everyone has a safe and wonderful Xmas, may your gifts rattle and you get to change many 'wants' to 'haves' on your bricks list!
This is giving me such fond memories of the old Adventurers theme.
Would have posted sooner but was under a NDA until today ;o)
Today I don't expect any LEGO-related news regarding my collection, but my daughter might well be getting a few presents originating from Billund (and want some help building) ;-)
In terms of Lego presents, as well as my Secret Santa present I got this cool Lego bracelet from my sister :-)
I also got the LEGO mug. I am sure I was not the first person with the idea, but back when Cuusoo first launched, I scaled up an image of a LEGO mug and superimposed it on a picture of myself so it looked like I was holding it. I then submitted the picture along with the idea of making a life-size mug but it was rejected because it was not a LEGO build. Im happy they finally made one but I just wish it were a little bigger.
